It's no "Space, Bitches."

I got permanently banned from a forum because I linked to that EDSBS post when somebody asked about how good Michigan's aerospace program was.

The newest one I've seen is the one about writing or telling stories with Chris Van Allsberg. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

You mean the one with the English professor teaching outside, the engineering grad studying in the Grad, the business grad shown then and now, and Van Allsberg shown looking up and smiling? That one's been around for awhile.

It has been around for awhile, but I can't remember one that I've seen more recent than that.

No, this one was sort of different. There were a panoply of images around campus, and then the camera zooms out of the images to form the Block M, I believe.

ive been searching for it online too, cant seem to find it - -it was a nice change from the older michigan difference commercials, though my favorite is still the hospital one with the patients...

I loved it because I was in it. My classroom was filmed for the video about two weeks ago - I'm sitting in the front row listening to the professor and taking notes about 2/3 of the way in.
My 1/15 of a second of fame.

Yep, ES 395. Great professor.

the Victors being played on sort of Xylophone(sp) sounding instrument. I don't hear that version on hospital ads, just the one with the Business school guy, Erb I think his name is. Classy commercials and well produced.

Ehh, I was not a fan. Too much like many other education related commercials I've seen. I think we were doing fine with our classy, simple commercials. There was just a bit too much going on in the new one.

The matrix effect made me think of the Brady Bunch or Hollywood Squares. I love the med school version(s)...

I'm with FA. They should use the space commercial for the next 100 years.

Is outstanding. If for nothing else than the version of "The Victors." And if you don't live in Michigan, you don't see this one because it's for the health system. Check it out.

I didn't like this new one. Like someone said, too much like all other University commercials.
"Ohh, look at how much fun our diverse student body is having! Ohh, look at our pretty campus! Ohh, look at our awesome buildings."
Every school has done the same commercial, several times over. The Michigan Difference commercials of past set a precedent that is hard to top, though.
