Michigan Day at Comerica Park (aka Wolverines in the D)

For the last three or four years the Detroit Tigers have held an event called Wolverines in the D which amounts to a day for Michigan fans at Comerica Park. The ticket price includes a ticket in the section of Michigan fans, a $5 contribution to a Michigan scholarship per ticket and a T-Shirt. This was the shirt from last year and its usually some color variation off that.

This year's game is on Friday September 5th against the San Francisco Giants (Thats the night before the away Notre Dame football game). They usually get a couple thousand fans through the package and its been fun seeing all the Michigan fans in the ballpark. They typically have some Michigan related group do the National Anthem (last year was the Michigan Men's Glee Club) and the First Pitch (last year was Jimmy King).
