Whoever wins this game is probably going to be exhausted against Ferris tomorrow. Ferris will have played at least 1 less period on 3+ more hours rest

I remember the last time on this board for OT hockey in the tournament... that didn't end well.

I would like for it to end better this time.

I just want it to end early on either way. I don't want to watch 10+ minutes to see us lose. Just put me in misery right away if that's how it happens. If we win, do it quick so we can rest up for tomorrow.

I've seen a lot of comments on here about Cornell playing the MSU fight song, and I wanted to clear that up. There are two parts in their fight song that are nearly identical to MSU's (especially the "fight for the only colors" part), but they are definitely not playing MSU's fight song.

Hearing it did get the team (and fans) fired up, though! The music nerd in me had to go check it out.

Shocked this hasn't turned into a drinking thread in OT. My gosh, OT is as scary as drowning and the dentist. Drinking shorts aorta ale. GO BLUE!

With the tying goal. What I want to see is a 2-1 or 3-2 rush up ice for the Wolverines followed by some tick tack toe passing for the win. Ala Helm WCF 2009 style. Put it away early! GO BLUE! And DO NOT TAKE A DUMB PENALTY.

What's the point of the camera on the Zamboni? It's cool seeing the tire meeting ice and all, but actually not. About as great as the sky-cam in basketball.

Too bad Compuware Arena can't host first round games.  Capacity of 4,500 means there would be plenty of  room to stretch out and relax based on the looks of these crowds today.
