Hoke offered him for a reaon, and it's not like we stole him from Bowling Green, he was a Minnesota commit.  I know Minny's not the best Big Ten team, but they're still a Big Ten team and they felt he was good enough for this league.  He also had an Iowa offer, as well as offers from Stanford and Arizona, two bowl teams in the Pac Ten.

Atleast people cant say he isnt trying. Dude has been hot on the recruiting trail. If Michigan can pull just few of these new recruits, it will help big time.

Looks like he has some amazing balance and makes plays at any position. Would love to have this guy but it might be a reach so late in recuiting.

regroup your thoughts....   this "late" in recruiting isn't bad at all...   tons of high schoolers want to play for us the michigan of old, and now there are tons of spots left.   hoke and mattison are gonna clean up... expect a top 15 finish....i am.

I'm trying to understand the sudden emphasis on cornerbacks when 3 were already in the stable together with those already on the team. Can someone help?

Did you watch any of our games last year?  I think we finished 109th in the country against the pass out of 119 teams.

Woolfolk and Floyd will be seniors next year.

The defense we are going to run moving forward will place three CB's on the field in a nickel package that will be deployed quite a bit.  That means you need 6 big-ten-caliber DB's to fill out a 2-deep.

We need as many quality DB's as we can get our hands on.

Woolfolk is most likely going to start at Free Safety as I'm sure the destruction of his ankle will rob some speed and direction-changing ability from him.

And the other points still stand.  Do you see Floyd having the athletic ability and instincts to be All Big-ten caliber in 2011 and 2012?  How about any of the other players in the secondary?  Do you think any of the corners that played last year were as good as Warren was his freshman year?  How about Leon Hall?

Ideally you do not need to play these kids until their redshirt sophomore or junior year.  Talbott is TINY and will be buried on the depth chart.  Christian is SLOW. Avery has potential.  Rogers is gone....I mean we were starting JAMES FREAKING ROGERS all year at corner.

Anybody that Michigan is pursuing at this point is going to be a reach, but Michigan has to throw out as many bones out there as possible hoping a few bite.

some of these kids.  When you're 17-18 it's hard enough to commit four years of your life to anything, much less a program where you sign to come before you know who your coach is.  If I was 17 again and making this choice I would at least like to meet the guy who's going to be in my grille every day.

Hoke is in a tough position, trying to hire a staff and recruit a bunch of kids to save this class all in a two-three week time-frame.  I think he has done a  great job so far, but the process begins to bottleneck in the final couple of weeks.

But at the next level he looks like more of an RB to me. He actually kind of reminds me of (ear muffs) Dee Hart just by his frame and his running style but probably not as fast. He can lay the wood too...and that's always nice to see. Go get him Coaches.
