No matter what context it's in, seeing CFL automatically makes me think Canadian football. Which inevitably leads to the following clip.

This picture is the background on my computer. I sit next next to a Notre Dame fan in a few of my classes and every time I open my computer he just groans and says something dumb. It gives me great satisfaction to know he is still tormented by Denard.

For those that don't know Canadian Football this is what happened in that clip. The rules for Canadian football states that touch backs are worth 1 point. Also if a ball is kicked through the end zone the kicking team gets one point.  The game was tied with a second or two left. The ALS (white team) were trying a game winning field goal, but the kick went wide. The Argos (blue team) were trying to avoid giving up a touch back (1 point) which would cause them to lose. If you don't think you can run the ball out you kick it out. The best case is to kick it out of bounds downfield. The Argos kicked it out of the end zone and the ALS kicked it back in were it was touched by an Argos player making it a live ball. An ALS player recovered it for a touch down. This type of play doesn't happen to often, but sometiems ends up being crazy like a hail mary pass.

THe CFL provides a few ridiculous moments like that a year. The best is watching these plays develop, with about 1/3 the players standing around wondering what the hell is going on.

Awesome stuff.
