  • We just dominated that game. The 2-1 score does not tell the tale
  • Our group of forwards looks elite. Dominated all night long
  • BU's goalie was rock solid. Credit to him

I suspect it's going to be a very good year

  • OSU beats Robert Morris at home 5-3. This is the first time they ever beat RMU at home. They're now 1-3
  • Lowell beat MSU 4-1 - That's 3 pts for HEA in the challenge.
  • Challenge standings are 12-6 HEA now. Michigan has all 6 of the Big Ten's points

Loved the fight tonight. They won puck battle after puck battle. They got and maintained possession in the offensive zone and took a lot of shots. If they play like this all season...[looks distantly into the future]

Hard to overstate how huge this start is. A young team, coming off of a disastrous season, with its star scorer benched early for "off-ice issues," staring down a gauntlet of some of the best teams in the country.
Even a team improved from the past year could start 1-4 easily. Even the best post-'97 teams have tended to start slow.
And they've been magnificent. Stealing a tie in a game they were dominated in. Out shooting and beating BC, the dynasty of the era. Gritting out a win like tonight.
I am really, really excited about this team. I still worry that there's some mirage here, but... You can't play a harder schedule, and they're scything through it.

Really excited for this team. I really started following the hockey team in 1994 and have been a huge fan ever since. When the basketball team fell on hard times I followed the hockey team even more. The forwards look great and I hope the team can have a great season.
