Not to get too ahead of ourselves... but with a 2-3 West Virginia and 3-2 Arkansas the only notables left in the nonconference, when is the next time Michigan will be challenged. The B1G schedule starts soft with Northwestern, Iowa, and Nebraska, so we could be looking at a 16-0 Michigan team rolling into Columbus.

Just thinking about this hoops team makes me giddy.

But c'mon.  This is an upper-tier MVC team with a lot of experience and it's our first true road game.  We should win but it'll be dicey.  78-74 Blue.

Sure, Bradley is 5-1, but they've also played no one remotely good at all, and lost to their one decent opponent, South Florida, by 19 points.  Furthermore, Kenpom has Bradley in the bottom third of the MVC, projected to finish with a 6-12 conference record.  I know this is all based on computer simulations, but all the same I'm not too concerned here.

BTW, Mr. Pomeroy predicts a 75-60 victory for M, with a 90% chance of winning.

MVC teams scare me. Their ability to seperate concerns and the modularity they provide really give them an advantage. I also worry about their ability to isolate specific players and how each of their players are not dependent on each other which gives them the ability to shift their lineup with ease.

I predict I will spend the first half trying to figure out what the hell Bradley is, and when I finally figure out the school isn't named after Bradley Cooper Michigan will be up 20 points.

Bradley is averaging 76 points per game despite the loss and we are at 80 point per game  on average, and a cursory examination of the stats would lead one to believe that this could be an interesting game. That being said, I think we get a few opportunistic rebounds and pull it out in 80-66-ish fashion.

  1. His ID is BUinformer, as in Bradley U informer.  That doesn't scream FAKE! to me.
  2. He remembers that Bradley beat Michigan in 1997.  I was 1 year removed from U of M and followed hoops pretty closely and still forgot about that.  Bradley fans would remember such wins.
  3. It seems darn right feasible that, since Michigan and Bradley are playing Saturday, Bradley supporters might check out Michigan blogs to see what Michigan fans are saying about the game and that they might be intersted in creating an account to paticipate in one asking for predictions.
  4. His posts aren't of the trolling variety.
  5. Why would anyone troll as a Bradley fan?

Is there really a Bradley troll on this board right now?

State, Ohio trolls, fine I get that.

And I admire your dedication to an otherwise unknown university like Bradley. But, still, come on man.

And for a prediction:

Michigan - 76

Bradley - 62
