Does anyone agree that it would be better to reorganize the "Michigan Blogs" sidebar into active / inactive blogs? It would be really nice if they could be ordered dynamically in order of last posting, but the level of effort to implement this might be more than the return is worth. At the least though, it would be helpful to have an active and inactive section.
My opinion is that the current sidebar is a disservice to the Michigan blogs that are still creating content, a disservice to the readership who is looking for relevant content, and devalues this blog along with the blogs in the sidebar. Does ESPN link so prominently to stale sites?
As a fan, I don't want to have to play the guessing game as to whether a blog in the sidebar is going to have a goodbye message from months ago or whether it will have relevant content. Should I just load them all up in Google Reader, and deny any future possibility of those blogs, and MGoBlog, from having any chance of getting advertising revenue from me?
