You just don't get the vibe that this team is ready to take the next step and win the conference. I don't. 

0-2 in the most important series to date and it's not looking good right now.

I think that surprise B1G Tournament title and NCAA bid sped up everyone's timeline a little bit. I think that was a little premature. I certainly didn't expect that in year 3.

Michigan moved closer to first yesterday--Minnesota split a doubleheader at Illinois.  Now just a half game out, with Minnesota hosting Indiana in a big series next weekend.
