Rivals Senior Editor Chris Balas reports
Another '11 target to emerge, Richfield (Ohio) Revere coaches confirmed today - 6-7 forward Larry Nance, Jr., son of the former NBA great with the same name. Nance has offers from Toledo and other mid-majors but is hearing from Michigan, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Kent State and others.
Nance has grown six inches in the last two years, according to reports, averages 18 points and 10 rebounds per game and has reportedly improved dramatically since last season.
"It is almost scary how similar Junior's game is to his father's," the Examiner reported. "Nance relies on a nice touch out to about 18 feet, has tremendous leaping ability, and is a terror on the defensive end on the glass and blocking shots.
I hope somehow he comes to Michigan, so the NBA names can continue.
Two seasons from now the roster will have NBA names such as Hardaway Jr., Horford, Dumars, Glenn Robinson, and hopefully Nance Jr.
