Michigan basketball snowflake thread
This team fought their butts off today and I'm proud of them. No excuses and no points for moral victories, but we have something special brewing.

Fans can absolutely have moral victories, and this game, with this team and the situation they were placed in down Walton and Levert and a less-than-optimal Doyle, it is amazing they were this competitive on the road.

The future is bright. This has obviously been an injury-laden season. I think that MAAR is going to be a special player.
Also, Give Chatman and Wilson a year before jumping all over them.

let's do it.
Focus on endurance, and Chatman's confidence.

He had it at one point.
Just hasn't figured out how to transfer it yet to his current environment.
If Beilein saw something in him, it's there...
... I just hope together they can figure out how to get it to unfold. Would be great to get a little boost, for example, in the postseason (like McGary in 2012).

in the lockerroom, lol.
I mean, they were this close to looking around wondering what the hell just happened.

he indicated that his guys still aren't getting some of the concepts and are making too many mistakes. but he expects them to "get it" and improve and become a better team.
hey, izzo, your team is primarily juniors and seniors. when in the hell do you think they will finally come around?!?!
this alone tells you how great a coach JB is. he went toe-to-toe in EL with several unheralded frosh and walk ons. if those guys were sophs, we easily win that game.

Rahk has picked up the offense and is looking like a potential star. Dawkins is coming along slower but looks more comfortable every game.
One the downside...Chatman still doesn't have any idea how to play defense and even by providing minutes and fouls is a liability. It seriously looked like JB was having a WTF moment with him but JB is too classy to do that publicly. Complelety opposite of the classlessness that is the Sparty coach.

Defense gets young players off the bench. Offense keeps them in the game. He isn't doing either but there isn't any options at this point. Lonergan should see it as an opportunity as JB has shown a willingness to play walkons that can contribute.

Build, no laurel-resting. Great effort, keep going.

looks like a poor man's Peyton Siva to me, very quick on the dribble. Looking forward to what Beilein can conjure up with that in the future.

have a heart attack like his fellow brother Grumpy Mark with the way he looks on the sidelines. His team looks like they are going in the wrong direction. Nice effort by the boys in blue today, it wont be long before these moral victories start turning into close victories. I am still feeling like the dance is an attainable goal for this team.
