BTN. Stream on that other thread. Should be an easy one. Let's hope it is.
somehow we're only 124th
I am willing to bet that Taylor Brown wears an Armani suit. Those glasses are sharp.
thread. Should be an easy game, but I'm happy to see anything Michigan sports related on TV.
The stream posted in the other thread is not working or was asking me to download some kind of torrent program.
Do my ears deceive me or is that the great Gus Johnson calling the game for us? Pure.
I've been watching a lot more crummy BTN games thanks to Gus.
For those without BTN (just live stats):
Two trips where Bradley got easy put-backs after nobody boxed them out.
is calling it, but I'm going mute to avoid hearing the insufferable P.A. guy after each M basket.
Blake getting more early minutes with no Horford. This makes me nervous for B1G season.
From the sound of it they are beating us to rebounds so far.
have been very active on the offensive side. Five OR thus far, which has led to most of their pts.
We need Smot to stay out of foul trouble because it is clear that he is important on the boards.
That foul surely wasn't called by the fashion police. Glasses are slick.
They are just outrebounding us. They look much better than I expected.
Does that guy have the same last and first name?
Same first and last name
Yes. Yes he does....
Morgan has looked bad so far.
I am impressed with Shayok Shayok's footwork, activity level, and his totally kickass name.
is a white lineup.
At least Carlton is coming off the bench before Akunne now.
Do you think Smotrycz intends to score when he drives and flails like a trout? Or is he only thinking foul?
I'm okay with it as long as he doesn't lose the ball or get an offensive foul.
But he always loses the ball. It gets stripped every time. Thats why he flails, he's trying to draw a call that no ref has given him this year. If you're going to play power forward you have to go the basket stronger than he does.
two good drives where he's lost the handle. At least he's been a bit more aggressive to the basket. He's getting there.
He doesn't have the skillset right now to take the ball to the hoop with a man under the basket to contest. He's a great shooter so he draws his guy to the shot then blows by him. Then he panics. He needs to either pull up and take the uncontensted mid range shot or get much better taking the ball to the rim, or else he should drive and kick. As I said though, I think he panics. His handle is weak so he drives with little control and rarely gets the ball up. If he can figure it out, it will be a huge addition to his game but until then it's frustrating to watch him turn it over every time.
He's not strong and his game really is on the 3 pt line and finding spots against zones; but that short corner shot he took a bit ago hit the side of the backboard (from roughly 15 ft) so yikes.
McLimans got a look inside and got that blocked, so Mitch, get here quick!
It's raining threes!!!!
is totally useless out there???? I would almost prefer Eso to get out there before him.
I would rather have Vogrich out there.
Vogrich is a pretty scrappy defender and a good rebounder for a guard. His early season struggles as a shooter are not indicative of his abilities.
his all season struggles shooting last year on top of his early season struggles this year????? Does that mean he just can't shoot??? I see he's trying to do other things and make up for it with his hustle, but coming out of highschool he was suppose to be lights out. He's been anything but throughout his career at UM.
He led the team with 38% shooting on 3's last year. What all season struggles shooting the ball last year are you referring to?
He only shot 62 of them. Regardless of his percentage, if you have watched the last couple of years you would know he has not been an impact player. Give someone else a shot.
I hope so.
I agree. Most of what Vogrich brings to the table is his 3-point shooting which hasn't been good this year. Eso has looked good as a scorer. I would rather have him in at the 2 then Vogrich. His last outing though did not make him look like a good backup for Burke. As long as all you want from Akunne is some scoring off the bench, he's a pretty solid player.
Where is Morgan? Michigan is just getting dominated in the paint
He just scored.
Good thing I called him out
didn't have a solid start. But M definitely needs him and Smots to rebound a bit more...this game. Eight off boards for Bradley so far.
Burke is just solid in so many phases of the game. Vision, passing and shooting are really impressive
He's made a couple really dumb mistakes so far
offense suddenly turn into a one pass and shoot offense?
our defense is going to be a big problem when we get into the Big Ten schedule.
Aah, they were definitely expecting the out-of-bounds baseline pass and Douglass got the free look. Couldn't get it in but that was some great awareness.
Freshman averaging three pts a game gets a T. (Not sure if I heard that correctly earlier about averaging just three)
Everyone is just standing around.
