The baseball game against nebraska on 5/19 is a BTN wild-card game which means it could be televised if the BTN chooses to do so. (I think they will)

The softball wild-card game is the 5/12 game against purdue.

BTN Digital Network will be streaming games. Those games will be announced in the coming weeks.

Pretty weak by BTN if you ask me. What the hell else is on TV in Spring? Hockey and Basketball seasons are coming to a conclusion. So put on some diamond sports.

agreed I wish we'd put at least the same amount on BTN as basketball gets in the winter time.  I'd rather watch this then reruns of the journey or something.

Any chance that we get a game on the ESPN family of networks for these games.

streaming option for $15/mo to watch softball for the away games.  The announcers are not very good but if you turn down the sound, at least you can watch the game.

Other than the minor details, the BTN is great.

point of the BTN was so we as Big Ten fans would be getting all these sports that arent on T.V. very often? I mean hockey is on maybe 3 or 4 times a year hell they actually put wrestling on or at least the re-runs on more than hockey, baseball, and softball. We have three different BTN channels out here and they play the same football game on all three instead of putting on 2 or 3 other games. So I just get the whole thinking behind only 5 baseball, and 5 softball games out of over 50 each being played in each sport. They dont even have a sports show dedicated to just giving the score of baseball and softball either.

buy into that reason on why they dont for sure. But really why does it have to be in HD I mean we made it how many years of television without HD channels, and I would watch those lesser sports in the BTN mind even if they were in non HD. But I get the cost part of traveling to all the fields to tape softball, and baseball cant be cheap either.

understand it either.  They send the announcers to most games anyway for the streaming.

To Dave Brandon, I would pay $20/mo to have a Michigan Only channel similar to the Texas TV network.  I wonder if we could do that within the framework of the BTN.  If not, can we do our own?  We have a very large Alumni and Fan base to support it.
