Michigan baseball continues rolling with victory over Oakland
With a 7-4 victory today, Michigan is now 24-25-1. Next game up is Ohio on friday.
I couldn't find a feed, but I followed it on the GameTracker - we managed those 7 runs on 11 hits. Benedetti had a nice game - 2-for-3 with 4 RBIs, including 2 on a home run. Glines and Cronenworth both went 2-for-4 with an RBI each as well. Wysocki pitched five innings, giving up only two hits as well.
Comprehensive numbers are here (hopefully, the CBS link works) - LINK
We need more games on the radio. Back when we were really good 6-7 years ago, every game was on the radio. Now it's mostly only gametracker.
Fourth-straight win for the Wolverines—a season-best streak. Now there's some consistency.
One note heading into the OSU series: Travis Maezes didn't play today after being subbed for early in the game yesterday. I don't know if got injured in yesterday's game or he was simply being rested or what.
Sunday's game vs. OSU will be on the BTN.
No chance unless we win the BTT.
Probably the softest spot on the schedule, so not getting too excited, but need to take 2 of 3 from Ohio State this weekend.
Team seems to play a lot of small ball with sacrifices.
What is the strength of this team?
