Michigan as a program is 3 wins away from 2800 all-time.

Barring them crapping the bed like they did earlier this week against UIC, they should be in the B1G Tournament.

Sad. If they would've beaten UIC, they would have maybe had a fighting chance at an at-large bid.

That loss really screwed their RPI. Gonna have to do amazing things like winning their next 5 regular season games including sweeping #12 Oklahoma State next weekend to get back into the conversation of an at-large bid.

Michigan has clinched a spot in the 8-team Big Ten tournament:  there are 5 teams that will end up at or below .500, and Michigan is guaranteed to end up above .500.

1. Illinois (16-1)
2. Iowa (16-3)
3t. Maryland (12-7)
3t. Ohio State (12-7)
5. Michigan (13-9)
6. Michigan State (11-8)
7. Indiana (9-10)
8. Nebraska (8-10)
9. Minnesota (7-12)
10. Penn State (6-12)
11. Rutgers (5-13)
12. Northwestern (5-14)
13. Purdue (2-16)

If Maryland & OSU split their 2 remaining head-to-head games this weekend while Michigan completes the sweep of Northwestern, Michigan will move into 3rd place heading into the final weekend of conference play.

What are the odds we get an at-large bid to the NCAAs? I assume we have to sweep Northwestern. Then take 2 of 3 from Oklahoma State next weekend. Maybe win a couple of games in the Big Ten tourney. Does that get us in? OK St is in the top 15 so winning 2 of 3 with them would be a tall order.

It isn't happening.  Mihcigan state is 30 spots higher than us in rpi and is on the bubble.   You have to get into the top 45 to feel anything close to comfort and we are currently at 69.  Not even winning out the regular season is jumping us over 20 spots.
