Next game is Friday at Ray Fisher Stadium against Purdue
Good win for the maize and blue, particularly after losing to Eastern 13-4 yesterday. This win should build some confidence for the weekend series against Purdue. If Michigan can sweep Purdue, they will have a good chance of making the Big Ten tournament. Once they make the Big Ten tournament, it is entirely possible to win.
What is their problem with losing to eastern? They've lost to eastern at least 3 times this season.
Eastern has beaten Michigan 15-10 and 13-4. Unfortunately I have not watched the games, so i do not know why Michigan has struggled so much. Eastern is a middle of the pack MAC team, so it is not as if they are harvesting a talent rich sleeper team (like Kent State last year.) In Michigan's two losses, Michigan has had a few errors and very poor pitching. Why, specifically against Eastern? Eastern must be Michigan's kryptonite.
They do wear green...they are the Eastern Kryptonite Eagles, that is EKE for short.
