Michigan Baseball beats Illinois Chicago 2-1
The team is now 27-26-1 and faces # 22 Kansas at Ray Fisher stadium on Saturday.
Michigan goes over the .500 mark for the first time this season with the win. Freshman right-hander Keith Lehmann had a nice outing in his first start as a Wolverine. He went 7 innings, giving up no runs on 8 hits and no walks, while striking out 4. He's now 4-0 on the season with an ERA of 2.86. Starting pitching looks to be in good shape for next season with Lehmann, Evan Hill, and Brett Adcock (and possibly Trent Szkutnik if he doesn't go pro). Full game recap.
