He's probably working on potty-training as we speak.

I know there are a lot of cynical comments but I am glad to see this matchup and a lot of teams are booked all the way out to early 2020s for their 'marquee non conf'.  After ND chickened out,  I did a piece on every major BCS type team and aside from 3-4 they all have a lot of their pipeline filled for the next 6 years or so.  And from memory those 3-4 were in the SEC who do not like to come north of Mason-Dixon.

We were out in the wilderness as we basically had ND and then 2-3 baby seals every year.  OU plays Tenn in 2015 OSU in 2016/2017, UCLA 2018/2019, refire a major rivalry game with Nebraska in 2021/2022 so this is exactly the type of program that will make for great home and homes - and thankfully its not 1 game at a sterile neutral environment.  Playing top programs at your place and then going there to see their culture, tradition, history, is what it is all about.

2025 & 2026 could be the 10 year anniversaries of UM's back-to-back National Championships!

schedules out further than B1G (through 2019) and Michigan's schedules are completely locked down through 2018.  Then there are the aforementioned games scheduled for VTech and UCLA in the early 20s so likely the Oklahoma dates were as early as practicle for both programs.

I'm gonna be 30 years old by then.

I may have a wife and kids.

This site will still be around.

I never thought I would live to see 30. I will probably still be alive at that point. Doubtful that I will still have season tickets, but you never know.

Just think about this......a year after the series ends in 2027, Michigan Stadium will be in its 100th year in existence.

Who knows what poor Michigan Stadium will look like by then. That upper deck plan is already being drawn up for the future.

And us old geezers will all be bitching abot how loud it is. The good news is that we can turn out hearing aids down.

as awesome as it is to see this as an announcement, I can't help but roll my eyes.  For those who know more than I do (If you posted in here and your name isn't Wolverine Devotee, I'm talking to you).  Why was the Alabama game such a short notice game and these games are a decade out?  is there some reason we can't schedule 2 tough non coference teams in the same year/  For instance and OU AND Ark game in one season?  If not, why wouldn't we do that?

Man, old UnkleBuck is gonna be old when that series starts.  Can't even imagine what my PSD rates will be then.  Should be a great series though.
