guessing we are talking about the basketball game from this weekend. But since someone is talking about the UTL game now I am not sure. Well either way I could watch both again tonight so I will find out here in 2 minutes, getting the popcorn and DVR ready. Go Blue

This post inspired me to rewatch The Game from this year. No good live sports tonight. Seems like a great night to watch the beginning of a new streak. Haven't rewatched it since that week I think.

that the refs and Jay Bilas were equally horrible, Ohio fans { I live in Ohio} went nuts saying how the refs cost them the game, all I did was inform them that if only one player out of your 8 or 9 man rotation shows up you arent going to win a game no matter what the refs do or dont do. That being said we had like 13 fouls called against us in the 2nd half and 7 or 8 in the first 8 minutes of the 2nd half. Ohio only had 7 called the whole second half and 3 were in the last 3 minutes and 1 or 2 were on purpose. So to all the haters and Ohio fans the proofs in the pudding.

Just watching this game makes me feel good about our basketball program. The great facilities and team to go with it. Not to mention that was the best atmosphere I have ever seen for for a Michigan basketball game.

I've already watched this game 4.5 times on my DVR, we just played SO WELL. I loved every second of it. Plus with the terrible programming on these days, I just cut it on and watch the game for a little bit, and then come back for the next half later.

I'll tell you all what, Novak and Douglass hit some CRAZY step back jumpers. I played D1 basketball and wow. Burke has gotten a lot of pub for his incredible layups to seal the game. But people forget how clutch those two shots were.

#1 You have to realize how close Ohio was at the time and where the momentum was

#2 Watch where we are in the possession

#3 The shot difficulty - My GOD! Those may be the 2 toughest shots they've hit all year (and Burke's last 2 layups may be his 2 toughest)

We just made plays, plan and simple. From beginning to end. Even Hardaway, yes Hardaway had some nice jumpers. Morgan's dunk and his defense. Everyone, total team effort.

We finally played 40 minutes of MICHIGAN Basketball. And it was a pleasure to watch. I dare someone to delete this from my DVR. They'll get straight...jump to :28

Since everyone is enjoying the replay of the great game from Saturday, I want to ask you something technical.  Does everybody (anybody?) else get horrible sound quality on BTN replays?

Whether it is the game on now, The Game from last November, and almost any other replayed games or broadcasts on BTN have garbled sound, along with an overlay of sound that sounds like an open microphone in a heavy wind.  It is terrible.  I don't have this problem on any other channel other than BTN.  It drives me crazy.  Am I alone on this?

again I still feel like Jay Bilas was a total tool this whole game. I mean at first i thought maybe I was just in the moment but watching it again he was an idiot.

Beilein spoke to Erin Andrews in the pre-game "side-line reporter interview".  He went on and on, definitely not Lloyd Carr-esque (which I never had a problem with actually, he was asked a lot of dumb questions!).

Also, I understand what Bilas meant, but I think another conference in the country has a more meaningful conference regular season; that being the Ivy League, as that's their bid to the NCAA tourney.  Just a thought, and another theme Bilas was wrong about that evening.

Got jobbed last year.  I remember the last game of the year for the Ivy Championship and Princeton beat Harvard by 1 point; Harvard actually beat Princeton earlier in the year.  Princeton got the automatic and Harvard wasn't even mentioned for consideration because of who they are/were.

But yea, hypothetically the Ivy League can send two or more schools but the "committee" looks at the more orthodox schools sitting on the bubble rather than the measley Ivy Leaguers.  Ergo, the Conference Champ solely goes.  On a side note I was actually in Tampa for the Princeton-Kentucky game in the 1st round (2nd round I guess they call it now) of the Tourney to see the smart kids almost pull the upset; Fun Game it was.

Bilas needs to take that motto to heart.  He knows the game, but he doesn't have to criticize every freaking play.  He was critical of Ohio's play selection and tempo, Michigan's flopping and constant fouling, the refs not calling fouls, the refs calling fouls, the B1G playing a plodding style.  SHUT THE FU%$^ UP BILAS!  We know you're an ACC slappy.  We get that.  We are watching because we are associated with one of the two teams or are a fan of college basketball.  Why do you have to ruin OUR moment.  You are payed to impart information and criticism where warrented.  That doesn't mean nonstop crap spewing!

Sorry for the rant - it was worse watching the game the second time.
