Someone mentioned Flounder from Animal House on a previous post, and I think that fits, "Oh boy, this is great!" This is only year two, the team is chock full of freshman and sophomores; to slightly embellish BA's great line, when I think about the teams we have scheduled in the coming years, "I pity the fools!"

Sorry for being overly argumentative about it, but I'm just sick of people trying to justify (ND fans, State fans) why their team shoulda/coulda won, etc. All the discussion is fun, especially because there's not a football game being played every day, but it wears on me a bit. The 3 picks may not have been thrown if Tate was in there... but it's not a measure of Tate's picks, it's our team's picks. Our team right now requires Denard, and even Nick, to take some snaps, and what happens during those snaps is directly related to the situation of out team at this point.

just checked out the stats at ESPN... we need to get Zoltan Mesko going...he has really dropped off the last 2 games and is nowhere to be found among the top punters
