Yeah, I remember taking a look at this kid.  He had offers from Purdue and MSU so he's no major slouch, but he's probably just below where UM and RR wants their kids.  If he keeps his speed as he adds bulk, he could be a pretty solid TE for the Hawkeyes though.

Duzey talked about how proud he was of the Spartan offer and how he grew up watching MSU football and his entire family was/is Spartan fans.  Interesting choice to become a Hawkeye and leave your sweetheart empty handed.  Maybe a bit of karma given the Fred Smith debacle among many.

Having lived in Iowa for 20 years (actually only 3, but it felt much longer), here are some suggestions for some fun things to do.  He can...um, well there is the...eh.  I hope he likes corn.

Is he going to be a Tight End later if he's 215 now?

I've never seen him before.. but I'd bet we finish our receivers with AJ Jordan and then maybe take a guy like Ben McCord at Tight End. We'll see.

I played with him in high school,  he's a good guy, and a damn good football player too. Even on a crap team like Troy Athens he still managed to put up numbers despite the fact that everyone knew he was gonna get the ball. He's also deceptively fast, sort of the long strider type. I don't ever remember him getting caught from behind.

Best of luck to the Duze at the next level.
