Hoops refs always seem to treat the initial look of judgement as incontrovertible, even if they happen to be the ref furthest away from the called foul on the court.
I think the first call was that he thought it occured in the arc. Whe the conference occurred about the arc they did not reconsider the other factors. My guess at the time.
I'm actually surprised we're not giving Morgan the ball more off of the Pick and roll...They're not really denying the pass to him and this would be an excellent confidence game for him
