gun in a road rage incident if true will likely mean he won't be playing for sparty this season.  Unlike the Glasgow situation-probation violation will likely be handled with additional substance abuse therapy longer probation or something like that and Glasgow will likely be reinstated at some point I would think.

Ummm...you serious?  The only way a kid gets kicked off their team is for those violations which would result in game forfeitures (i.e. Bullough).  If Dantonio's hand isn't forced by the B1G or NCAA, his kids will play.

it could be different and it wont be up to Dantonio.  We don't know if the reported incident is involving a gun yet but if it is and the gun isn't registered and or he doesnt have a permit for a concealed weapon and he had it in the car there could be some mandatory jail time.  Since all the details aren't known yet its only speculation but my comment was assuming the reported involvement of a firearm and if so the players fate could be out of Dantonios hands.

They have some question marks for sure. I still think their offense will be pretty good. Their defense might struggle a little again without Narduzzi and all they lost in the secondary.

Not that I care too much, because as far as I am concerned, MSU's short reign over M has come to an end (well, in October it will), but we all know this guy won't miss a lot of games, if any.

or Roid Rage?

The kid did have a prior drug arrest.  And violent behavior is a risk factor for suspected PED use.

If--that is, if---the charges are true, he should be randomly tested more often.

Hitting a woman isnt as bad as waving a gun? Good luck explaining that one in the [ insert UM player involved in alleged domestic violence incident ] thread. Glass houses man, we don't exactly have the cleanest slate.

of all of the apologists here and elsewhere excusing bad behavior on the basis of "kids will be kids" or "that's what college kids do". How about some damned accountability? There are a whole lot of "kids" 18-23 who don't pull this crap. And, if they do, aren't protected by the powers that be, athletic department, judicial system or otherwise.
