Mich. Fans Going to IU Game (special price)
I was traveling on business this past week and saw a sign for IU Football Tickets and a special price for kids.
If you are planning on going down to Bloomington on 10/2 and bringing some young kids. Call the IU Ticket line at 1-866-IUSPORTS (487-7678).
Adult Tickets are $50
Youth Tickets are $5!
Yes, $5 per ticket. You can't get that deal through U of M and will have to call IU directly.
Enjoy and Go Blue!
Damn that is a sweet deal.
If you're a student though, I believe they selll tickets at the stadium for $5 a piece unless you're from the opposing team. So if you know an IU student or can snag a friends student ID for Eastern or MSU or something, get a ticket for $5. They're desperate for people to fill up their stadium
Atleast that's how it was when I was down there for Fall Break last year and saw thr IU Illini game.
But of course for those that are out of college, this isn't a bad deal
Does anyone know where I would go to get a $5 college student tick as I am a EMU student, and would like to go to this game for that price.
Thanks a lot if someone can tell me!
I am an IU student and I just wait and buy the tickets the day of the game it is still $5 for a ticket with your student ID.
so I can use my DePaul grad student ID and get in for $5? That's nuts...
good thing I held on to my MTU ID!
This is the only game I'm not physically going to this season (it's the weekend before the LSAT.)
You're not missing much. Bloomington is a pretty ho hum town.
Bloomington is a great college town.
Will be having my birthday party in the form of a tailgate outside of Memorial Stadium for this one. Hope to see lots of maize and blue.
I am considering making the trip as everyone I have ever talked to about Bloomington raves about what a blast it is.
The only reason I am not definitely going is my wife is pregnant. So she might put the clamps down on a boys trip. I can tell she is already envisioning the 20,000+ 20 year old coeds running around campus while she is at home with child.
Maybe she is on to something? (kidding)
My favorite trip during undergrad was one for an IU-Michigan game in Bloomington. A weekend of total debauchery.
And they do love to tailgate there...
$10 if you buy now instead of $15 on game day.
Does anybody know what the start time is? Or when they will announce the start time? All I've seen is TBA on the official sites.... My brother will be home from China that weekend and we talked about going. But I've got something in Huntington that afternoon. If it's a night game I think I can get to both!

I’d assume chances are 60/40 between a noon start and a 3:30 start. PSU @ Iowa has the night slot that evening so that’s out of the running. If we're 4-0 headed into the game it'll greatly increase our chances of getting the 3:30 slot, but I’d guess OSU @ Illinois has a slight edge for that slot.
