The crowd audio has to be out of sync.

Either way, a bowl game here is a terrible idea. Looks like ass, the camera is WAY too tight and it sounds like they're playing in a tin can.

Yeah......the absolute silence while a WKU player is running down the sideline with the ball and then random cheering and a whistle after he's tackled and heading back to the line tells me the audio is screwed.

The visible cooling fan air on the USF sideline is blowing upward into the camera's view. LOL

What a fiasco.

Anyone else annoyed that United has put MGoBlog on their blacklist (i.e. cannot access via their wifi)? What gives--too many boobz? Or our unencumbered use of the vernacular? Serious request: if anyone here works for UA and can comment on it I'd be grateful for the reason.

Heading home now and 4+ hours without MGoBlog--this is BS! Almost not worth buying the wifi.

Is there a super annoying theme song playing at every commercial break proclaiming that "It's Just Better in Miami Beach"?  Because that would make me angry.

The Marmot Boca Raton Bowl with Toledo vs. Temple might be sorta interesting.....kinda.

That game is at 4pm on espn.

Earlier in the day, Akron plays Utah St. in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.....a certain Martian might be interested in that game.

7-0 USF.

The refs mics don't work. The audio has gotten even worse.

An actual sequence-

*Interception*

*Fans making pre-play noise*

*Silence*

*YAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!*

I can't get over how bad this production is. And it's on ESPN proper, not ESPN3.com

Good lord there are too many bowl games. I didn't even know this bowl existed. The top-40 (maybe even the top-30) teams in the finall poll after all games have been played should be awarded a bowl game.

You didn't see the BYU/Memphis fight from last year?

I actually think this bowl makes more sense than a lot of the other bowls. The main problem, IMO, are the teams.

However, if this is Georgia vs. Penn St. (Taxslayer Bowl)...then all of a sudden it's decent.

People want to go to Miami, the silly bowls, IMO...are the ones played in the middle of fucking no where. The ones where you can put Georgia and Penn St. and it would still be empty.

Yeah, the location makes sense, but it should be somewhat difficult to get awarded a bowl game. I mean come on...there are teams this year that have a 5-7 record and going to a bowl game; it's ridiculous.

I thought it said beach BALL open thread. I thought that my years of beach ball study and analysis would finally yeild fruits of ungodly admiration from my beach recreation peers, but alas...
