I refuse to read the Freep article, but I think Brady Hoke discourages players from participating in these types of games once their senior year is finished. That's why guys like Tom Strobel didn't play in the Big 33 Game, either.

This may be a dumb question, but does Hoke discourage to players to play because he fears injury or is there another factor present?
