Mgotorrentz?

With the demise of Mgovideo are we poop out of luck for game torrents?

My job requires me to work Saturdays and snowflake threads and game columns just aren't actual football.

Maybe he lives abroad like me. tenyardtracker.com has lots of torrents. I downloaded the Minny game before it was available on BTN2go International, which is a bad site. Basically every game I watch on there has major errors (e.g., no sound for very long stretches, restarts the video every time it goes to a commercial break, and plenty more). I'm cancelling my account. Ridiculous they can't provide a better service than a random Michigan fan on the internet even though I'm paying them for it.

I'm logged in and the site is working, but yes I tried to create a new account from another computer and it says it's reached a limit and no no accounts are being created at this time.  I'm guessing that might be a temporary problem so would try again in a while.  With Mgovideo and others going down, and users like the above poster creating multiple accounts, they may have experienced a volume spike and have to catch up.

btn2go and watch espn apps. that's how I watch games when I'm not around a tv during game time. btn app is also on demand so you can reach any time.

As long as you live in an area that carries BTN and/or has a participating provider, this is prbably the simplest thing to do, I would think. The replays of games that aired on BTN are usually available within moments of the game's conclusion, and ESPN/ABC games are usually available by the next day (unless it is a situation like the UConn game, where BTN would not have the replay as it was an OOC away game - I think that's one of the only scenarios where it doesn't happen). I think BTN keeps them available for two weeks typically.

I missed the game and was hoping to watch it this week. Usually I'd just stream it off of mgovideo, but he doesn't seem to have a full game upload yet (maybe it's forthcoming). I've never tried using a torrent before (for anything), but it basically sounds like old file sharing programs. Assuming this thread turns up a non-tenyardtracker torrent (won't let me sign up), is it just a matter of downloading via some torrent software a la Kazaa?

Awesome, thanks! And don't worry, I usually get all snooty about stealing stuff off the internet. In the interest of retaining my moral high ground (and therefore my sweet, sweet self-righteousness), I'll probably only use it to watch football games that I've missed for one reason or another.

I only use it for that, and some TV shows I either missed or want to keep.  When Mgovideo shut down I believe I was the 4th highest all-time seeder (many TB) and in all that time never got a complaint letter.  I have however gotten such letters regarding TV shows.  Lesson - if you obtain anything other than these games don't keep seeding after download - that's when they get you.

Things I would recommend not downloading/sharing are recent movies, music, and video games - that's asking for trouble.

Any other streaming sites out there? For some reason Firstrownow wouldnt work last week for me (Deployed to Egypt), and BTN international is spotty.   Thanks!

Speaking obviously just for myself I can't watch a game where I know the outcome in advance UNLESS it's a fantastic game where my team wins.  If it's just a ho-hum win I cant watch it (unless I'm on a treadmill or something at the gym watching BTN), if it's an exciting loss I cant watch it and if it's an ass-kicking I sure as hell cant watch it.

Every play I say to myself "why didnt we JUST try this instead of whatever we ran".  You can second-guess your brains out on a replay FWIW.

But obviously I'm in the minority here.  But hey...any of you guys wanna bet on next week's game?  Call me Sunday and we'll put something together to make it interesting when you get to watch it.

If I know I am going to miss a game and watch it later, I completely seclude myself from all tv and phone.  I have all all notifications turned off from ESPN and the Michigan apps that I actually paid for but they kind of suck.

BTN2GO allows you to have the scores turned off and so I go into every game with no knowledge of the score.

Before I used BTN2GO I almost divorced my wife because her dad had DVR'd the game and he had watched it and told her the outcome and she asked me why do I want to watch the game if they lost?  Arggghhhh that was turrible.  I watched the whole game out of spite and was furrious the whole time.  That lose was one of the worst of my life.  Of course that was 'ol Rich Rod days.  I think she has learned her lesson.
