I've been frequenting MGoBlog for about 3 years now and was an MGoBlogVoyeur for a couple of years prior. As users came and went during that time, occasional introductions were made amongst the user folk hereabouts. I've noticed a bit of turnover over the last few months and thought it may be interesting for everyone to share a bit of background. So, if you're inclined...

Me;

On the precipice of 50.

Marketing Director.

Born in TC, but live in MN now.

L.S.A. Class of '88.

The most MICHIGAN thing?  I committed a foul against Gilvani Johnson in an intramural basketball game. The foul prevented him from completing a slam dunk. This turned out to be my team's sole victory in an otherwise not so closely contested 119-42 loss.

I am not sure about this one...One of the more stupid things I have done is yell "homo" after a group of tOSU nursing students said "OH." I was not proud, stupid things you do as an undergrad don't have the same effect once you're out of that bubble.

My wife and I attended all the Home/Away games as seniors.

Our first game as students was the App State game, and we still went to every single game (including that awful sleet game against NW in '09(?)).....Sober.

Most michigan thing? I don't go to the games because I won't support financially the indentured servitude of college football .

When I did go I loved road games and have seen us win in the shoe, Lansing, Madison . I've had long ride home from notre dame and Purdue (28-10 at half).

Fifty something

Parent (stay-at-home dad);  Since the youngest started kindergarten, I've moved on to the lesser job of college professor (and I mean that in all sincerity). On Saturday, the youngest will graduate with honors, a double major, and a job lined up that will pay for her grad school.

Tornado Alley, Oklahoma to be specific

Alum: Yes.  Graduate of UM-Flint ( a few insecure aholes on the board claim isn't a Michigan degree, but whatever).

Most Michigan thing ever done?  Being gracious and supportive when my oldest daughter chose MSU over Michigan, Northwestern, Purdue, and Washington U. for her engineering degree.

Alum: Sadly no, but I will be earning my eMBA at the Ross 'Satellite Camp' in California over the next few years.

Michigan Moment: Spreading the gospel and second coming of HARBAUGH to my in-laws during our Christmas visit in Phoenix... Or telling friends in 2011 to look out for 2016 Heisman winner Shane Morris (still a chance, right?)....Or searching the internets for fifteen years looking for a game-worn Marty Turco helmet to have in my office...Or just my general demeanor about anything Michigan.

Most Michigan thing? Many to choose from. Blaring The Victors while driving up and down High St. in Cbus at 4 am on the way to 1996 Frozen Four.

Was lucky enough to play in a pickup game on the Winter Classic rink at the Big House in Dec. 2013. Knelt down and kissed center ice before leaving.

Most Michigan Thing: I live in in San Francisco and still have season tickets...a long commute for games. Highlight: the 4am wakeup to fly all day with my son through Minneapolis to make it to UTL1. Lowlight: flying my family out to take my twins to see their first Michigan game...to see The Horror
