I am attending the Chicago Football Preview featuring our very own Brian, Sam Webb, and Gerry Dinardo. Does anybody have any questions they want asked?
Getting excited for the season hope you all are also. Closer than you think.
Is the new plan for Funchess to stay at his current weight? Is he going to become more of a receiver and less of a TE now that Butt has shown up at a good size and he hasn't put on any pounds? Basically, what's the deal with the lack of largeness we expected after the offseason?
Who says he hasn't put on any pounds? The roster has changed to reflect the new freshmen, but the weights on it haven't been changed since the spring iirc.
Didn't realize that. Very good news to me if it's true. I thought I remembered when the weights came out there was a lot of surprise about his lack of gain.
You are correct; he didn't get any bigger during winter conditioning, while other guys made major changes. The question is, did he get stronger? He can be an effective blocker at around 230lbs, but only if he's a beast.
Are we going to see Devin under center more (Chad Henne style) or is the plan to have him in the gun more often?
I am sure the answer will be..."He will be in both" but curious nonetheless
Which of the Hemsworth brothers are the most handsome?
This says all you need to know about their importance.
Follow-up: Dinardo's boobs, yay or nay?
In his opinion, who has/had the better flow?: Jake Ryan, Joe Bolden, or Brian Cook?
Hate to break it to you, but...
Those would make some sweet earrings.
Thats why I put "has/had" because I know Joe and Jake both cut off their hair recently
Aww, he's just trying to get the mane to grow back in thicker than before and therefore, more awesome.
Early pick to start at SAM; Beyer or Gordon? Thanks.
How worried are you about our offensive line on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being a heavily sedated chinchilla and 10 being a level 5 Sharknado? Actually, I'll just ask this myself since I'm going too.
I've been hearing "great" things about this Sharknado movie. Looks like I'm going to have to check it out.
There has and will be a lot of attention paid to the composition of the offensive line, but I was curious as to what Brian thought regarding who will start up front on defense as well. Does he believe that we shall see, at least to start, Clark and Heitzman on the ends and Black and Wasshington on the interior, or does practice in August maybe open the door for some competition at any of these spots?
Another one - regarding the WR corps, are we looking at Gallon, some combo of Chesson and Darboh, and then Dileo maybe at slot receiver, or is there something else that might unfold here?
Who would win in a fight between a grilled cheese sandwich and a taco?
With prison rules.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has seen Hot Rod.
measure up to the hype that accompanied his recruitment and signing?
Will Tacopants be prominently featured in the offense?
and I haven't thought of anything interesting to ask yet, if any other good ones show up here, I'll ask them.
