we had some great times. Man, I wish I had that kind of free time again.
True that! You put out some amazingly enjoyable content and you're missed. You just need to find a good job like me, one where you can put off work today that can be done tomorrow and generally guess your way through projects.
OMG shirtless. I used to not be a fan at all, but ever since he was the one (with a perfectly timed comment that prevented an incriminating post from being edited) that exposed RDT as a fraud, I've come around and really started appreciating his posting style.
moved to sexier blogs long ago.
So you're ALL in second place as far as I'm concerned.
I'm my mom's favorite poster.
Incidentally, my favorite poster is a picture of your mom.
#BOOM - Mom'ed
Until you've gotten her screen printed onto a body-pillow.
I can list a few (Shoe, PGB, JGB, LSA, Blaze, Mathlete, SixZero), but there are dozens more who I think are fantastic. And dozens more that are more than adequate. And dozens that I don't hate. And dozens who I hate. And one whose porch I am on right now with a bag of flaming dog crap.
But seriously folks, you guy (and a handful of ladies) are great. Thanks to all of you for helping me survive three years in South Bend, and saving my wife from a bunch of one-sided conversation about the lack of bubble screens.
He called the shit poop!
I see what's going on here.
So sorry to interrupt.
*Crosses fingers and closes eyes...
PLEASE let me be adequate, PLEASE let me be adequate, PLEASE let me be adequate...
...my new favorite poster may be the one of profitgoblue staring at a poster of All Aboard's mom.
Chunkums, BiSB, LSA, and Herm are all great. There are so, so many others too. I love remembering all the old ones mentioned here from when I was a reader (and not yet a poster) that may not post as often or at all anymore. Times change, and users come and go, but the MGoBoard holds fast.
TheGhostofYost, or herm
But I'll add brandanomano and turd ferguson. 50% great avatars and 50% great posts.
I miss BlueDragon we always had good discussion even if he didn't like me. I also like Diabetus.
I miss you not commenting on this blog.
You have the people skills of drywall.
Well this guy right now: http://mgoblog.com/content/hokepoints-when-will-o-line-be-ready#comment-...
I remember the avatars more than the posters a lot of times, especially for the dudes who took my pics for their avatars (the michigan grinch, the M hero badge, the sparty facewarmer "helmet", the guy who i made henne and hart and long disappear Back to the Future Style, bruce lee kicking the face off of a buckeye, etc.). I remember their names if I think (and some I've met in person, and some I've written checks to) but I don't want to think right now so...
I always thought that was Michigan Judge Dredd.
(Up like 8 posts now)
Anime? Ouch. I am mortally wounded. Anime ain't got nothin' on Dredd!
I did, of course almost go to RoboCop, but somebody else whined and moaned and asked if they could have the one I made. Then never used it. And so it is me on the twitters.
I am in no way surprised that Dredd is into auto-erotic asphyxiation.
Okay so there's a difference. sry.
I think I told you whose hands they were--now I don't remember. Allen Iverson maybe? According to the file on my comp it was made 4/14/2010 if you wanna go figure it out.
I forgot Oakapple. I have a link to his page (http://mgoblog.com/users/oakapple) in my bookmarks I made because he was always making intelligent comments. I never click on that link but yeah..
The 15 or so guys who spend their time in the hockey threads, I always really appreciated Seth bumping my hockey content to the front page, and a few others from before like FA and White_Tiger.
Ah yes this guy^ another fave. Request: Diary up the three goals scored against us in the first Alaska game because nobody backchecked the trailing guy.
including but not limited to Brian Cook, the mods, MGrowold, Shoe, Seth, BiSB, Magnus, Herm, Blaze, M-Wolverin, Wolverine Historian, Profit, Wahoo, WolvinLA, Justingoblue, the Yosts, Phork, Chitown, MichiganArrogance, Amphibious, and plenty of others I'm blanking on. Even Shirtless can make me laugh.
MGoBlog is a pretty amazing community, information resource, and internet ecosystem. There are those here who are irritating as hell—most notably the recent immigrants from MLive—but they're like mosquitos, gnats, and deer flies.
Cuts through the BS like no other.
You're pretty great too Don when you're not picking us to lose everything.
Did anyone else hit ctrl+F to try and find themselves on this thread only to be disappointed you weren't mentioned at all?
I need an MGoHug now. :(
NO. lol, who would be so insecure? As if I need validation from you guys. Psh, I would never do something like that.
I did that. I wasn't surprised to not find myself mentioned though, as I've only been posting here for a few months now.
FWIW, even though its probably too late, you stick out in my mind particularly because of your avatar. That is one cute toddler! If only I could get my little dude to wear a hat . . .
You stick out in my mind too because you showed me the ropes here early on when I started commenting, as well as gave me a 10 point bump to get to 100 because I was actually being polite to people on the board, something apparently not all of the new folks do.
I know I'm late to the party. I just want to be able to say I was a part of this thread when it's referenced later on.
Magnus, LSAclassof2000, Profit, Chunkums, Seth, BKFinest, Mgrowold, to name but a few. At the end of the day this is the best sports blog on the interwebs.
It is a place where we can debate whether or not Les Mis is worth seeing, or see how much depth we have on the O-line for the next 4 years...Thanks for all of the insight, hilarity and honesty.
I appreciate StephenRKass, Don, Mgrowold. The guys who remember some of the players from the 70s and can provide a bit of perspective when the youngsters start acting crazy.
I have to go with Magnus, Seth, CRex, BiSB, PGB, JGB, SixZero, MGoShoe....and I'm going to throw MGoJen some love. We never see her around her anymore.
I can't imagine solving personal problems on twitter is as fun.
I'd have to say SaveFerris probably is the closest to my school and graduation years around here.
there is only one man who's genius is so subtle that no one has mentioned it....
wait, garybusey was mentioned. I think he has great potential. Brown Bear, mgoshoe, BISB, Magnus... others....
Mr. (and Mrs.) Kass definitely deserve a shout-out. My "WWMrsKD" meme wouldn't exist without those two epic threads. And FuManBlue used to be a favorite until he went and got himself Bolivian'ed again. He was my one and only MGoClient - a wonderful story of a successful extraction from Bolivia. A not-so-covert operation back when points were cumulative.
VideoTom, WolverineHistorian and The_Knowledge. Never miss a post from them!
Actually. Now I'm depressed :(
My favorite poster is without a doubt that one I had on my wall of Alyssa Milano.
I promise it wasn't purposely purposefull redundance.
