My thunderbolt closes anytime i try to access a post. It loads then force restarts the app.
I have a Thunderbolt as well. It seems to be the most common on ones with lots of comments -- the comments load before the main post and then before the main post can load, the app crashes and restarts.
I have the Samsung Moment and it seems like there's an issue. Also there is no submit button when trying to make a comment.
Thunderbolt here as well. I've noticed the restart issue. My biggest beef is that the threads are all backwards, so you have to read from the bottom to the top and then replies are top to bottom. Very confusing.
Honestly, I just open a brower and view the full html website. Loads fast on 4g.
No issues on the evo...
How long has this app been available??

Saw the complaints re: new version and didn't update. But as for a wish list, the app needs to download the content so posts can be accessed without reception/wireless. Maybe not everyone rides a subway like me, but perhaps your office bathroom is beyond the reach of the local cell phone tower? Please, join me in this cause.
We're going to add this as a user selected option in the next big release. Multiple users have emailed me about caching articles to the SD Card, and we're looking into it. Our first priority however is getting the app as stable as possible.

We're making a preferences page for the next release, with the option to change the ordering of comments. It's trickier than you would think to implement, but we're on it.
Love the app, no forced closes for me thus far. I like that the most current posts are at the top so you don't have to re-read the same posts to get to the new ones. I notice some posted links are not highlighted to click on taking you to the website but not sure if that's a user or program issue?
I have a LG Ally, and every time I start it, it forces it closed, and then I have to restart it again.

Hey everyone,
So I currently have a rooted Moto Droid 1 that runs Cyanogenmod 7, but I try to test the app with every firmware on my phone before releasing it, and I was unable to reproduce the critical bug that was reported on Monday. It looks like the bug is only showing up on newer phones, which is boggling my mind right now. I am in desperate need of some information and anyone that is encountering the bug should reply to this comment:
1. What phone/firmware are you using?
2. What were you doing exactly in the app when it force closed? The bug reports are sometimes not very helpful, and these ones are not giving me any useful information at all.
I want everyone to know that I'm working my ass off trying to fix this, but it is nearly impossible on my Droid 1. If anyone in the Ann Arbor area would like to meet up at Espresso Royale or something and bring their phone so I could get full logcat dumps (much more informative than the bug reports that Google sends me), I would start jumping for joy.
just got an Evo this weekend. works fine for the 15 minutes or so I've been dickin around here on it so far.
Is everyone that is encountering the issue have an HTC phone with the Sense UI?
All of the posters reporting serious issues seem to be using HTC sense phones - all running Android 2.2 froyo - or the LG Ally

It's wierdseems to be targetting specific main or board posts.
I'm wondering if the embedded flash videos are breaking it. Could someone with an HTC phone verify this?

Is there any chance you could move the ad to the bottom of the page? Also, it would be sweet if you could side swipe to switch between the different tabs (similar to the News & Weather app that comes with Android)
Having no problems with my Droid 2.
My app has been running perfectly. No problems on my Droid 2.
I've had no issues on my EVO. Thanks again for the effort.
HTC Sense UI, Android 2.2 (Froyo)
Sometimes I'll load a front page post and it loads prefectly, other times it restarts as soon as the post starts to open. Same with board posts, seems to be no rhyme or reason to the force close/reboots of the app.
This only started after the last update.
I'm going to a borrow a friend's Thunderbolt for testing later this week. This is getting out of hand.
Just wondering how the testing is going. I work for Verizon Wireless and currently own two HTC phones, one Thunderbolt and the other Incredible 2. I'd be willing to send you my Thunderbolt if you need access to one. I don't use it, and it currently isn't even activated on a line. Let me know,
