I have no idea where our seats are but we've got a group of about 12. It's the 20th anniversary of us all meeting each other freshman year. Pretty pumped about it. Anybody spending the weekend in Park City? We'll be up there Thursday and Friday night.

W7, Row 61.  Wearing blue, but it's going to be 87 degrees at kickoff so going with kahki shorts; not pants.  Staying right on campus at University Guest House.

Anybody heard of/knows of any UM pregame spots, we're going to go up to Park City after landing 9am TH Otherwise we'll wander and make our way ...figuring to see a LOT of Wolverine Faithful and have a lot of respect for the Utah fans, from my experience, and know they'll be gracious hosts (and good natured hecklers!)

I'm in N23, Row 3 - hoping that's not too close to throw off the field perception. Also hitting the alumni tailgate. Then driving to Vegas on Friday morning. Been looking forward to this trip for a long time. Go Blue!

Coaching a JV game Thursday night against our rival. Then getting home and watching the DVR... Throwing my phone in a ziplock bag and then into a bucket of water in the freezer so I am not tempted...

Flying in Wednesday from O'Hare, staying at the University Guest House (I get the family discount for supporting a U of U student there for four years). Great place to stay on campus, up by the dorms which were built for the Olympics. Bringing the MGoWife, MGoDaughter and UGoSon (sorry!). The M daughter is desperate for revenge on her U twin brother after the nightmare in the storm last fall.

Also meeting my company's lawyer (M Law) for pre-gaming. If we don't learn of another gathering (not getting into the sold-out Alumni Association tailgate, it appears), we'll probably stop by Gracie's before heading up to the stadium.

And just found out that we've got tickets for Oregon State the next week. Lots of travelling, but worth it because...HARBAUGH!

I'll be leaving for SLC from Metro Airport on Wednesday.  My friend has our tickets for the game, and I don't know where we are in the stadium.  I've never been to Utah and am looking forward to seeing some of the local sights too.

Keep in mind that you are taking this advice from a non-drinking Mormon but I know that the Desert Edge Brewery at Trolley Square (http://desertedgebrewery.com/) is a popular hangout here in town.

Not quite within walking distance from the stadium (it is "down the hill" from the stadium and I don't recommend the climb) but it is still reasonably close and on the way from downtown, just a street south of the main drag of 400 South.

Trolley Square is the trolley station from yesteryear that was converted into a mall with restaurants but still maintains its original aura. Kinda cool.

Even as a non-drinker, I enjoy eating there with my wives...er, wife, and family.

Just a thought from a native.
