Submitted by Vuginovic on
So lets see who would win the Heisman Trophy with the MGoBlog community doing the voting. Place a reply with your ballots 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. 1st- Toby Gerhart 2nd- Ndamukong Suh 3rd- Mark Ingram 4th- Colt McCoy 5th- Tim Tebow EDIT: I actually think i would take out Tebow and add either CJ Spiller or BG

No, no, no BG gets on the MVP ballot in the top 5 but heisman is about stats and its kinda hard to get stats like Suh when you're the only player worth blocking on the entire D

in an ideal world, the Heisman should go to most outstanding football player, regardless of whether they touch the ball on every play or not... Suh was the best player on the field in every game he played in... can't ask for anything more

1st- Ndamukong Suh 2nd- Toby Gerhart 3rd- Mark Ingram 4th- Colt McCoy 5th- C.J. Spiller Sorry but I don't think Tebow deserves to be on the list after this season and this season only.

I am not sorry. Bad choice of how to start the sentence. I understand what you are saying and Tebow is a great player and leader and I was actually a fan of his. However the Heisman should be about the current season and Tebow didn't have Heisman type numbers or Heisman type moments this season.

I'm watching the interview on Suh that is like 2 months old but with new highlights he is easily the best Defensive player this year. He is athletic and strong, plus he has great hand eye coordination.

1. Gerhart 2. Suh 3. Ingram 4. McCoy 5. Tebow I'm hoping the SEC and Big 12 voters splilt their votes between the two candidates representing each of their respecitive conferences and that Gerhart emerges as the winner.

For a couple reasons. I never really jumped onto the Tebow-hate bandwagon, even though I think he's pretty overrated. I saw both play a couple times this year, and Tebow simply impressed me more. The way I see it, if Ingram switched teams with say, C.J. Spiller, is there a doubt in anyones mind that Spiller would be on the ballot instead of Ingram? My ballot isn't so much me thinking Tebow is "best player evarrrr" (he's not) as much as it is thinking Ingram simply isn't that good.
