I'm very nervous about this game. I worry about spartys dline prohibiting us from running and thus forcing rudocks hand. I also worry about our secondary holding up against the first pure passing attack we've faced...this is the game that will put me on the hype train...I'm just hesitant, I think state is better than most are giving them credit for.

I'm nervous right there with you. But tw fact is, is that we should all be enjoying the hell out of this. I don't care who you are, we all thought this was going to be a process and harbaugh provided lighting in a bottle. I'm confident going into Saturday's game simply because state has not shown anything over the last 6 games that I am scared of. Weak secondary, weak o line, d line is not the same and I've also seen some people gash them in special teams. Can they pull it together on Saturday? Maybe, but I'd bet against it, simply because they haven't seemed to progress all season. I doubt they hit all phases of the game and magically catch fire, but who am I to talk? Harbaugh isn't coming to Michigan. Hahahaha

Do you think Harbaugh, Drevno and Fisch know about MSU's dline? 'Cause I do, and I think they will gameplan magnificently to take away any and all MSU's advantages. ;-) But I think the real advantage we will have is our dline against their oline, which is patched together by used bubble gum and snot.

Talking heads like Dinardo and Cris Carter.  Dinardo saying that Michigan just doesn't have the talent to keep up with MSU and Carter stating that Michigan's players are small and underweight.  Seriously, they're still spouting this crap even as their lyin' eyes tell them elsewise.

Not really, I've seen our secondary struggle at times with the ball in the air but the teams we've played haven't been able to capitalize. I know we have great coaches, no doubt. I just believe despite how state has played, they're the most talented team we've played. I guess mostly I'm sick of asshole Spartan fans and I just hope we play to our potential!

Hate to be a jerk, but you are really trying very hard to find any possible reason why we would lose this game. Our secondary struggle with the ball in the air? Even Seattle is getting lit up. No secondary can stop every QB from throwing darts. Cook has not played a secondary like ours yet. We played a better secondary in NU than Cook has. We excelled. This is THE best team he would have faced this year. If he wins this one, I guess he deserves to be the #1 QB. But, I am confident in Lewis, Stribling and Peppers. That is a deadly combination. If they can't do it, no one else can.

What is it about State's offense that scares you guys? Connor Cook with a depleted offensive line? He gets hit a few times early and the game will be set. Their running game isn't better than the WIldcat's and their defense isn't better. If for some reason it is, then it isn't by much. If they get down early they are pretty much fucked. There you have it. Kick the tires and light the fires boys. All hail Mega....Michigan!

It's interesting because I'm not nervous at all. Michigan has the best defense in the country, has very sound if not excellent special teams, is improving offensively and has arguably the best coaching staff in college football. This team does not let up! Look at the game Saturday, particularly the last series of downs for Northwestern. UM's defense was incredibly pumped/focused on stopping them and maintaining the shutout. These youngsters as Harbaugh sometimes calls them are all in and want to get better every week. Of course we don't want to hex them but everything they've done thus far suggests they'll handily beat MSU. I get this is college football, these are 18 to 22 year old men and anything can happen. My point is knowing our coaching staff and what we've seen thus far suggests we'll take care of State in short order. I continue to believe Northwestern was/is the tougher opponent. Most are judging State by what they've done in recent years, not this year. We've all lamented the 5-0 starts Michigan has had only to falter later in the season. Yes, anything can happen in college football and State will be fired up, but we have an elite coaching staff that is never satisfied or overconfident. Never!

Even if the wrong team wins it'll only be because of a slight advantage at QB and this will probably be the last year in a while that Mich dosen't have a big advantage there,

The simple fact is, no matter how much hate some around here give him, Brady Hoke did recruit and develop a very good defense and the Diabolical Dr. Durkinstein created a Monster from it.

Add the Certifiable Savant of Offensive Innovation and no matter what the outcome of this game the future is Blue!

Did she just say "we" on TV as someone who works for ESPN?  She is on the Lou Holtz level of homerism now.

To be fair, Dez says "we" quite a bit as well. I think if it was SportsCenter or something it would be inappropriate. But given that it's a more "casual" show I think it's probably okay.

What her homerism has done, however, is given her some sort of lame-brain reason for MSU to win the game.

I hate Jemele. She doesn't know shit about sports, let alone her own alma mater's football and basketball teams. She said there is no pressure on MSU to win. Who is she trying to kid?!
