Steketee kicked two game-winning FGs for Michigan.

11/20/1920 at Minnesota. The game-winning FG was in the 2nd quarter. Michigan won 3-0.

He also kicked one against Illinois in 1921 in another 3-0 win.

Not really a lot to tell. I grew up in a small town in Iowa, raised by older adoptive parents. Didn’t play sports – I was the “odd duck” who didn’t fit in with the other kids. After school, I moved to the big city, where I landed a job as a reporter on a major metropolitan daily. I like the work and the people – including one of my co-workers, a sassy little brunette who’s really good at her job. I give her hand when she gets into trouble. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know I’m alive, because she’s only got eyes for somebody else. He’s one of those big, flashy guys who’s always in the spotlight. You know the type – Super-confident with a capital “S.” Anyway, I stay busy – I can always find something to “some trouble to get into.” But I do enjoy my solitude, and that when I like to read this blog. It’s very informative. Plus, being maize-and-blue-based, I know I won’t run into anything green here. For some odd reason, green things make me sick.

Age: 31

City: Livonia, MI

High School: Divine Child High School, Dearborn, MI

Sports: I enjoy running and powerlifting

Hobbies: Playing and teaching guitar, recording, making beats, retro video gaming

Music:  mostly hardcore punk, post rock, instrumental hip hop, and mid-seventies jazz fusion

College: Michigan LS&A 2007, BA in Psychology

Went back to school in 2013 to fulfill prerequisites for Physical Therapy school:  did two semesters at Schoolcraft College and then two more semesters at Wayne State.  I finished my prereqs last semester, but I'm strongly considering taking a few more semesters of school to knock out the rest of the pre-med slate of classes, taking the MCAT, and applying to medical school instead.

Now: I work as a tech for a PT clinic in Troy.

Haha, my numbers are pretty mediocre (especially my bench) and I don't compete.  My deadlift was decent; I was able to deadlift 450 lbs at 5'9", 165 lbs bodyweight at one point like six months ago, but I've been nursing a hip flexor injury for a long while now.  I have no idea what my current maxes are.  I was squatting 335 lbs and benching 235 back then.

Nice man! Thats damn good for that size.  I've lifted in the 8 to 12 rep range for a while, but I've just started going to the 2-4ish range to get my numbers up after a torn ACL.  So far so good.  I have a weird hip flexor as well.  Left lower back around by the hip always tight and when I run it lights on fire.  Probably related to the ACL Im sure.  Good luck man. #glutesactivated
