I was just looking over (and enjoying) some old "Hello" recruiting posts and thought that it might be fun to have "Goodbye" posts to bookend these guys' Michigan careers.
Obviously, there are a lot of ways to do this, but I'm thinking about positively toned posts ("Those who stay...") that let us relive some of the highlights of their careers, look back to their recruiting profiles, think about their contributions and stats, and maybe have some parting words or stories from the players themselves (or thoughts about their next steps in life). I'd imagine that it's hard to fill an offseason with high-quality content, and I could see this being cool for both the readers and players.
If you were to do one profile for each major contributor and four-/five-year scholarship player, then maybe a single profile for the non-scholarship guys and one more post for the guys who left along the way, you'd probably be looking at about 20 posts per year.
Just a thought.
