“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”
Meta: New Banner
I enjoy the terrified eye of the Iowa DB. All hail the crippling fear that is encompassing this poor corn lad!
Color mismatch? But I am picky as hell about that stuff.
Y'all just chill. Brian's on the MFer. He's callin' the Wolf.
Damn! It's 'bout to get real if we're calling Mr. Wolf!
"Feel better, mothafucka?"
Sheeeeeiit. That's all you had to say.
With sugar on top, change the damn colors.
Different strokes for different folks; I prefer the new banner.
I love it. It's too bad the whole thing can't fit in the banner.
Is Gallon bobbling a bit after contact, or did that Iowa DB make serious contact before the catch?
The DB definitely made contact early.
Did the Iowa DB go from white to black then back to white?
Yeah, I pulled the photos down. My mistake.
I love the new banner. Looks great, but there is no way that is the correct sequence
Yeah, they were in order in the set...that was my mistake.
Great Photos. Living in Iowa and having all Hawkeye in-laws, it is nice to a couple more options for my desktop.
Much nicer when you see the whole thing. Great shot
Fear in the DB's eyes is beautiful. -1 for bitching about a new banner.
It's got the winged helmet, right? Good banner.
Why so much yellow piping? This banner brought to you by Adidas.
Is there an archive anywhere of old banners?
This is a great idea
I was wondering the same thing myself.
Too many people bitching and negging fellow UM fans here about everything. Hopefully a fresh dose of college football starting in 3 days will be the remedy.
+100 to you sir
I agree...everyone is so negative on this board
I don't like change. Tradition and Manball. Cool that Gallon gets a turn, but I'd like to see a Brady Hoke double point up there for the next 15-20 years. Turning to Brady Hoke seems to be working out for us so far.
I like the Iowa connection, or any connection to the teams in the West Division whom we will be playing sporadically in exchange for yearly showdowns with Rutgers and fucking Maryland.
Take a chill pill OP.
and since I am sitting at the beach with my feet in the sand and some beers in the cooler next to me, I'm not sure what more I could do to chill further.
What about my original post was not chill? I just expressed minimal disappointment in the banner, that's all.
Can't wait for Saturday.
That nameless Iowa DB will live on forever. At least until the banner changes again in a year or so.
to agree with the OP. It is a good picture, but the banner as a whole does look just kind of off the shelf from Banners R Us. And what about Gallon in particular would make him the face of the season? I don't know, seems a little shaky.
Maybe the fact that he has a chance at breaking some school records if the cards fall right.
The "MGoBlog" title is in Iowa's colors, not Michigan's. That should be an easy fix.
It's Brains blog he can do whatever he wants.....
(and nobody is saying he can't)
You were pondering what I was pondering, that without ears, we'd look like weasels...
He would be Brian or the brain behind this thing
Where is the Naked Man banner? That is all I care about.
+1. naked man may have been NSFW but he was definitely safe for cultural appeal YAKNAWWUTIMSAIYAN
I will count myself in as among those who like the new banner, primarily because the photo rather fits with the "Manball Is +EV" slogan, in my opinion. It seems fairly relevant considering how this team should look moving forward.
Looks great! The Denard pic was awesome but it's a new season and time for a fresh start.
Because you can see the "M" on the football, as well as the winged helmet. It looks cool! 9/10!
lulz I didn't even notice it until 15 minutes of Blog reading (clicked this post to see what the IDEAS were going to be for a new banner). However, +EV...that's like a grading for Vinyl reconds on Ebay, correct?
Positive expected value, I believe.
I come here for the articles, not the pictures...
