2 weeks after I submitted it, the MGoBlog app has finally been approved and in the app store.

Please download and enjoy.

The app is free, but supported by iAd.  Please occasionally click an ad (it won't take you out of the app).  Especially click if it's not for some other app (the non App ads pay better).  Brian and I will split the proceeds (Beveled Guilt, without actually having to pay).

I've described most of the app's features in the following thread:

http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/meta-mgoblog-iphone-app-beta-testers-wanted

I wanted to get the app in the store for the season, so not all the suggestions have made it in.  I'll try to get in as many requests as I can over the course of the season (and with some help from Brian).

Let me know if you have any major issues or requests (that haven't been mentioned in the other thread).  Also, please rate the app and say nice things in the app store about it (you can email me any criticisms directly).

UPDATE:

IMPORTANT!  Please make sure you put in something in the subject field when you post something.

I'm one of the original beta testers. I'll continue my comments here rather than the original thread: The app crashes when I open this board topic, but not others.

Also, and this will probably be a biggie for Brian, the UFR tables display all wonky. I meant to address this last week but didn't get around to it.

It'd be cool if once you've logged in the login button changes to logout.

Great app!  Pretty much exactly as I had envisioned in my "if I only read that stupid programming for iPhone" book I got last Christmas... oops...

Is there any way to make it compatible for anything pre OS 4.0?

I know I'm a luddite, but I still have the old 3G and I refuse to upgrade after all the horror stories I've read...

On the other hand, this may just force me to buy a new one.

Saturday, I did all my posting on the Liveblog on it.  I think it works better getting the stuff in better than the straight internet. Only couple of things...if you don't have a lot of memory, and you click on something, sometimes one of the Liveblog ads come up, and you have to exit by going back to the frontpage listing, then click back in. But it loads way faster than straight internet.

And you never know what the mods see and grab and what they don't, but I got the feeling it went through better if you go "done" with your typing board before you click "send".  Might have just been my perception, but when I just went from my typing screen and clicking send above it, it didn't seem like they were getting accepted. Which has seemed to be the case with the regular mobile access too. But it might have just been the luck of the draw.

(Don't have a laptop, so when I follow along on MGoBlog, whether open threads or liveblogs, I like/have to use my mobile.  So this App might be most valuable for that for me).

Did you?

(And I actually felt honest doing it, because I've been using it for awhile, and literally nothing's come up since my last batch of suggestions.  It can grow, but I've not really found any bugs with it).
