META - If you were Brian, the next MGoBlog banner would feature.....
The "Kneeling Denard" banner was an awesome choice for DRob's final season, especially when paired with the "This love's for gentlemen only" tagline. Previously, the Hoke banner from last year was excellent although the "Your shoes sparkle in the moonlight fancy dancer" tagline was over my head and didn't turn up any google results.
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, assumes you are in the shoes of the esteemed proprietor of this here blog who is faced with an urgent need to redesign the banner ASAP. What say you, MGoCommunity? Who/what would be featured on the next banner and what does the tagline read?
If it were up to me, I'd go with a picture of Jake Ryan and his glorious coif coupled with a tagline along the lines of "Resting his head on a pillow made of concrete" - a lyric from Pearl Jam's "Even Flow".
EDIT: Wasn't even thinking along the lines of a basketball banner since it's never been done here before, but the posters who suggested it may be on to something. A good one might be a picture of Trey Burke's (supposedly) vacated dorm room that caused panic last year with the tagline "Psych" or "Sike", however you youngsters spell it these days.

I'll confess I'm partial to football ... always have been, always will be.
That said, if a banner based on a football photo is in order, then my vote would go for a shot of Michigan offensive linemen standing in a line, a look of grim determination on their faces, preferably with banged-up helmets and grass stains on their uniforms.
If not that, then Kate Upton.

I think there can be more banners, and more banner changes. Possibilities:
- Basketball.
- Hockey.
- Linemen.
- Big House.
- Coaches.
The look of MGoBlog is well enough known that a picture and tagline change periodically would be fine with me.

Why not follow Dave Brandon's lead and have the banner font composed of invisible letters?

I like this one, simple, pays tribute to the original blogspot banner. Plus, the flow.

How about a "Mount Rushmore" with Hoke, Belein, and Berenson?

I like the Mount Rushmore idea, but using actual Michigan greats. Berenson, Schembechler, Yost, Crisler, Cliff Keen, Carol Hutchins
