Also META-ish related, Ace told me via Twitter the first MGoPodcast of the season will drop on either Monday or Tuesday. It's being recorded tomorrow.

Is anyone else having trouble breathing right now?

No.  Not me.  This beautiful fall-like weather with low humidity makes it a joy to go outdoors and breath deeply, as it feels like football weather.

While I'm at it, all my other G-rated functions are performing just fine, too.

---drinking?  Doing well, there, just having popped the top off the first bottle of a six of Founders Pale Ale, it's going down gooooood.

---eating?  #eating.

---seeing?  I can see for miles and miles, I can see for miles and miles, I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles....(was listening to and enjoying some classic WHO earlier today, can you tell?  Besides, the cool crisp outdoor air is also very clear)

Besides that, all the plumbing has been working just fine all along.  I'd say "all systems go" at this point.

Nothing yet in the hinterlands near Metro Airport either, and I live within a 15-minute drive of the Allen Park USPS distribution center and a UPS sorting facility. I suspect that both of those places hate for the amount of stuff that travels from this house, so perhaps they are hesitant to bring anything TO the house.

Outstanding idea for next year!

Not only will we local recipients not have to wait for mail delivery systems to do whatever the hell they do to delay delivery so long, but we may also be able to share pleasantries with Brian. (or unpleasantries depending on how deep into August it is next year...).

PDF version July 10. I should have printed it at work a month ago. Hopefully it comes tomorrow so I can read it prior to the scrimmage.

I signed up for DraftKings upon the release of the thread detailing how to receive a free HTTV digital copy. Have they been sent out yet? I haven't received any correspondence.

I tutor AP classes.  English, US history, Micro, Macro, and US Gov.  Fortunately for me that only covers a few hours a week this time of year.  Come March through May it'll cover ten to fifteen hours per week.

I enjoy it, but also relish the time off after the exams.

To live in the AP?!   That must be brutal.  More power to you, and please try to step out of the stress zone whenever you can.

Re: One Direction....I've already been snarky enough...and don't know enough about One Direction to continue the snark...

/hope you have fun and it's cool that you're taking your kids to a concert

So, I responded to one of the kickstarter updates that was only asking for submissions of international addresses with my very domestic address. Twice. I'm a monster.

I would totally understand if this is the reason I haven't received my HTTV copy yet.

I'm not sure if the physical copy is here yet but the PDF one was identical right? If so, I was very happy to read HTTV on the computer. I understand though that people may want to read a physical copy. Can't believe we are a few weeks from the season.

It is awesome. Thanks Brian and Seth for putting this together. Now I can be fully informed for the scrimmage (hopefully the weather cooperates).

have their HTTV yet?

It often feels like this county is on the outside looking in, as far as the state of Michigan is concerned.  Illinois (especially Chicago) folks consider this area as part of their playground.  The FCC considers us a suburb of South Bend---I'm not allowed to have a single Michigan TV channel on my DirecTV lineup.  If it weren't for the BigTen Network and FoxSportsDetroit, this would be my version of hell.  And now the USPO is screwing me over, too, by withholding my HTTV (for ransom?).
