META: Front page login issues - Chrome

Me, too.

I also tried Firefox and even Internet Explorer.  Same issues.

Having the same problem. Login seems to work from the MGoBoard within a thread.

This problem started happening to me today, it was fine yesterday - what could it be?

same exact issues and I'm using IE.

Yep.  Firefox user, same issue.  Started today.

I think it means that Jimmy is coming to Michigan.  Server asplode.

I've also noticed in chrome is nearly impossible to get to older MGoBoard posts other than the ones in the right hand column on the home page. If you hit 'Next' arrow, it actually makes the whole MGoBoard column disappear. Not sure if it's a related issue or not. 

I'm on a Gobment puter and am having the same issues.

Yep it has been 2 days for me.

Was Hoke manually controlling our logins??  If so, I want him BACK!

Same on Safari. Can login through an individual thread but not on the landing page. Also, I've never had to log in every single time I get to the landing page.

What is this MGoBlog of which you speak?  I'm not familiar with it, but is sounds like a great place to hang out and chat about Michigan sports.  I've been out of town for a bit - has anyting happened lately?

I don't have that issue with chrome.  What I have noticed is that the site is incredibly fast compared to what it was.  I think the change must have had something to do with it.

Same deal with me....keeps logging me out.  Using Chrome.

We had to downgrade the server.

Cost cutting measures so we can pay Harbaugh his retaining fee.

I can't even login.  Or at least, no easily.

Normally I can log in on the front page using my "remembered" password. But today, nada.  I had to click the "login" option in the specific thread, not on the left sidebar.

I'm having the problem with both explorer and safari.  I seem to have more success with Chrome at the office.

Yeah, it's an ongoing issue. It just started today for me, and at first I didn't even pay attention to what I had finally did to get logged in. I went to a thread, like others did.

Per the mods, it happens automatically when traffic gets too high to allow more people to access the site.

Site's broken. We can work around it, but it would be nice to have some insight into when we can expect a fix.
