I hate content and good things so please stop.
For the record, I'm not a eugenicist.
Keep on keeping on big guy.

I hate twitter, but I love that column. Just don't put any stupid .gifs in it. In fact, if you could just save that column until the minute the awful .gif column goes up and then post to push it down the page, I'll put more money into Beveled Guilt with the instructions that it go to you.
So yes, I'm offering you a bribe to make that .gif column go away.
Keep doing them forever and ever.
And ever.

...thing MGoing right now. Like others, I do worry that it has a tendency to turn into TWIS sans Scott Tenorman. Recommend mixing up the awful with the good. Twitter does have some redeeming qualities. I think.
Keep writing, we're reading.

I've been giggling about your Conseco/dinosaur bit for a few days now. Keep up the great work, and if anything I'd love to see you write more, about whatever you feel like writing about.
TWIT works for you - but honestly, I'd read most anything you write. As others above have stated, you are funny and have a great tone when you write. It'll keep me interested.
Also, doing a Twitter column means you'll never be light on content. Some opined that the FP was struggling due to a sub-stellar football season, a dreadful hockey season, and a basketball season that seems to not be as AMAZING as we had hoped. No matter how "dull" the state of Michigan sports is, people will always be twittering.
I really enjoy the new TWIT stuff. I don't follow twitter and this is a cool way to keep in touch with what's happening in that world. I never would have known about the Desmond thing or Dakich and I find it interesting.
I would recommend only including famous people or relevant sports stuff. I know there are many crazy, irrelevant fans of Michigan and other teams but it does not shock or interest me to read what they have to say--no matter how nuts it is. That is why I'm not on twitter.
Keep it coming.
I wouldn't worry about being an "imitation of TWIS." Seriously, is every newspaper an "imitation of Relation aller Furnemmen und gedenckwurdigen Hisorien," first published in 1605?
Most of the funny stuff on Twitter is going to involve someone being pissed off. That is usually when we are at our most humorous, though not in the way we intended at the time.
I have enjoyed the Twitter stuff.
I like all of the things you have written on the front page. In fact, I think the new features including Ace's gifs are great. I don't know what's the deal with the MGoBlog Roast going on a few threads below.

Great contribution, and because I'm not a Twitter guy, this gives me insight without too much distraction. I also enjoy your writing style, so thanks for the work.

TWIT is fine. I would make three observations:
- When there is good Michigan related content, it is good, and when this content isn't reported elsewhere, TWIT is great.
- Sometimes, when something has been around for a while, it gets old. Obv. we won't know for some time whether or not TWIT gets old after a while.
- When there is little content in the Twittersphere, your articles will suffer as well. This is analogous to trying to come up with content in the off-season. Don't force it if nothing is there.
I think, overall, that what I will always crave is Michigan related news, particularly if it isn't reported elsewhere. Right now, twitter is the content-du-jour. However, this will undoubtedly change. You probably need to be flexible in terms of where you find the news you report.

I want you to keep doing what you're doing except
- Fewer jokes
- More Brian
- Less stuff I can't understand even though I'm on a fucking computer and I could look it up instantaneously instead of either going to the library or talking to another human being like in the olden days
BOOM OTHER THREAD'D
I like the Twitter wrap-up because it shows your sense of humor. You have a *premium* sense of humor. Whatever you do, please continue to employ that.

I think your feature is great and I look forward to reading it. But then again I oddly find almost everything you write funny so I guess you could take random pages from the dictionary out, comment on them and I'd enjoy it.
I don't twitter, but I've still enjoyed the column. I'd like to see it stay.

While I'm not the biggest twitter follower, I do enjoy the content in the articles and tweets posted in twitterverse as it evokes a plethora of feelings from laughter (seeing Desmond Howard own Chad Scott following his tweets) disgust (fans of schools wishing harm among players) to eye opening insight (Dan Dakich really is a troll).
Bold: Best tweet and write up in the series so far TWIT-1.
Keep it going!
