What are some of peoples favorite mgoblog posts from this site?  Are there any posts that you go back and re-read from time to time?

Mine is easily the Eleven Swans post from just after Bo passed and just before the osu game

In that thread is what might be arguably a Top Ten meltdown by the OP as well, no offense to Champeen, of course. I don't think there was any way that question was NOT going to come through with all sorts of creepy undertones, but be damned if he tried to tell us that they didn't exist in the request made - quite strenuously, I might add.

I'm married and there is no such thing as "wife day" in my life. If Michigan is on a bye week, there are plenty of other games to watch.

I found myself re-reading the Monday game articles for the 2011 Minnesota and OSU games a number of times. Well written and made me very proud of that year's squad, especially the seniors.

Seriously, just read the title and look at the top 3 pictures of Odoms, Denard and Kevin Koger.

If you don't tear up you might have no soul.

User-curated HOF is great, even though it hasn't been curated in a few years.

Whenever the topic of nostalgia/favorite posts pops up, I enjoy seeing the old user names as much as revisiting the thread itself.

I wonder what some of the old members are doing?  I mean, unlike other message boards related to your favorite hobby, you don't get tired/bored with Michigan football, right?

"The Dryer is running the classic Hoke offense these days: it takes forever to get going, it doesn’t accomplish anything, it makes a weird repetitive clapping noise, and the stuff inside just keeps tumbling over itself over and over until the timer runs out. And like Michigan, your spouse has foolishly acquiesced to the suggestion that maybe the same person who has been unable to solve the worsening problem over the past few months is the person who should be tasked with fixing it this time. All you need is the right tools. Maybe a Nuss Wrench will loosen that flange thing, which will expose the problem. Does that sound right? I think it could work."

Classic.

The one where someone took over Alum96's recruiting swim lanes and we all felt bad reading it (you know you felt like you were cheating at the time) and the comment section had nothing to do with recruiting we were all just feeling guilty about reading another swim lane dairy without Alum96 being the author

No words, just kittens immediately following the loss to App State.  Good thing I had already started taking paxil.

That was 2007 and Brian was way ahead on the kittens-on-the-internet meme.  Two weeks later, after both Michigan and ND started off 0-2, the next best post was two kittens having a little tussle on a newspaper.  In walks a third, which promptly barfs at the sight of the other two.

I can't seem to find it but my all time favorite was the 'OT: I Retired Today' thread where the guy bragged about retiring at 38 because of his sugar momma.

Can't retrieve it from the old site, but this one always stands out to me as the best post I've ever seen on this blog: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/ot-board-really-needs-classic-threads-section#comment-165768

"I woke up today face down on Keech, next to the stadium. I think I cried myself to sleep, except for the part about crying, which was actually drinking. And I dreamt that Les Miles descended from the heavens on a ray of sunlight, landing squarely on Jim Tressel like Dorothy landing on the Wicked Witch of the North. He touched my cheek and my pale, wrinkled face grew smooth, warm, and healthy again. I cast aside my bottle of Wild Irish Rose and followed Les into the bright light of future Michigan football dominance, forever and ever amen.

Then I woke up, butt cold on the pavement, and there was Bill Martin standing over me, dick hanging out of his $1000 overcoat, pissing on my head."
