Meta: Is everyone else getting thread comments cut off?
I thought someone just had a wonky sig line in the "are you stopping taking sports so seriously" thread and a couple of others I saw it in...but the Hoke press conference thread goes for a handfull of comments and then stops. Is everyone or anyone else getting this and the rest of the page blocked?( On Chrome and Explorer for me)

I'm not getting that. I was able to offer my anxiously awaited insight and pithy observations as usual.

I'm seeing the same on the Hoke thread, using Firefox.
Some will blame a youthful blog staff but it's probably Borges's fault.

It depends on the post. Some threads I've had that issue, and others I haven't.
Maybe it depends on the browser you use? I exclusively use Chrome... unless I'm testing CSS on Internet Explorer or Firefox.

I've been using Chrome.
Like with all problems, someone is trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

I am absolutely having that problem. I made a post in another thread and it, along with others from other posters, is not showing.

Yeah I am having a few problems like that. Using chrome. Not all threads, just some.

I'm getting that issue in this thread:
"Week 7: Michigan Offense 9th in BIG10 (YPG), 8th in rushing (haha, Indiana, beat you!)"
That's the only one (I think).

Got it this morning on firefox. Seems to have resolved itself since then.

Same issue in Chrome for me.

It is happening sporadically on Chrome for me as well. I tried clearing the cache and even rolling back an update just to see if I wasn't crazy, but apparently it exists. Can't even delete the posts to clear the problem out either - the boxes do not appear for me under the replies where it occurs.

Scanning through some posts, it seems like it always happens after a JimBobTressel post (sorry to call you out, but I can't even post in the moderator thread). I would guess that his signature has an extra closing div tag, which closes out the div holding all comments. Mods may want to alter his signature.
October 14th, 2013 at 4:03 PM ^
Looking at the page output itself, it looks like there is a "<!--Session da" at the end of his signature that is commenting out the rest of the page. Remove this from the signature and it should fix everything.

Yes, I'm using Chrome, and all comments after a JimBobTressel post gets cut off with that same message seen in the OP.

sorry. fixed it, thanks for the heads up

It's not every thread, just some.

probably the same people who are directly responsible for ruining Michigan's vaunted offense this year.
Now stop touching yourself and hopefully all will be right in the world again!

I posted a thread requesting someone to do a chart showing B1G OL experience and yds/per play avg, and it disappeared. I assumed it was not thoughtful enough. I think it would be interesting comparison - even across the FBS.

Pretty sure that's a differenct scenario.
