Meta: Brian, where are the pos/neg bangs, man?

Brian-

I could be wrong but I think that you promised the board pos/neg bangs by the beginning of this season.  What is the status of the greatest tool to police the board?

I'm really sorry about this, but I could not fix after a couple days of trying and then I was in season preview mode. We were not prepared for a server move to blow up something, and then trying to reinstall the Drupal module didn't work, nor did installing the latest version, and time got really short.

I'm going to try to figure something out during the bye week.

Do you mean to tell me that you aren't ITIL compliant? I envisioned a PM coordinating with your Engineering team who would be conducting testing on the non- production environment. Once that was completed they would submit an Approved Service Interruption with Operations in order to apply the updates/upgrades on the production servers. Somehow I now see images of two guys eating pizza, googling fix actions and saying "F$&k it. Reboot and see what happens"

If you can add them back in, please don't cap them.  It was great back in the day when a really funny post would score a 25.  Also, it doesn't matter if they count towards your point total.

Some of the comments post game have been really dumb.

The whiney "player x is a bust!" Commenters surely take home the dumbass award this week.

May they all be picking up their teeth with broken hands.

Being able to filter out the negative score comments is a huge feature.  The last couple of weeks despite a lot of great posts and great comments, I've enjoyed the board a lot less because I have to read (see) all of the stupid comments about what is an appropriate comment and the player bashing.   The board comes off as brilliant with the filter on.  We come off like MSU with it off.

I think the board is better off without the moderation feature. I find them to be childish (even in the hands of grown men) and they stifle discussion and opposing views as less than worthy because certain posters don't agree with it. The only thing worse about this board is people complaining about thread titles.

Why are you tools always so worried about policing the board?

You maniacs downvote any dissenting opinion...most of the time it's used for hivemind gang tactics, not 'policing' the board anyway...
