He hates you, so noo!
I thought that myself when I read that article that talked about a Data Scientist(tm)
He hates you, so noo!
What I really miss is the feature that made your own posts yellow, while everyone else's were blue, so you could find them easily.
I've been trying to upvote your comment for the last ten minutes but can't seem to find the voting button. Must have been moved. Or something.
Your comment is insightful, I only wish there was a quick, anonymous way for me to express that to you
This still happens on the iPhone app
Blast you youngins and your highfalutin' technology. In my day we communicated with smoke signals!
Well, aren't we the little narcissist, hmm?
What would this generation do without up and down arrows to give them purpose?
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, B, A, Select, Start.
This was the only way that I could beat "Life Force" back in the day. I admit that.
Also, this is the sort of reference that would have seen numerous upvotes in the old system. Well-played, sir.
Or Super Contra. I had no chance at that game without the code, even on two player I'd spend all my guys and start stealing my buddies guys. Still freaking loved that game, though
007 373 5963 Punch Out code to go straight to Tyson. I'm not sure why I still remember that.
777 207 3070
Super macho man code. I didn't know the Tyson one so I had to beat Super macho man first to fight Tyson. To this day I can beat Macho man without him touching me because I did it so many times while getting worked by Tyson.
I reach for the upvote button by instinct after seeing great posts like this
u mad, bro?
Is the feature alive on the droid?
I'm really sorry about this, but I could not fix after a couple days of trying and then I was in season preview mode. We were not prepared for a server move to blow up something, and then trying to reinstall the Drupal module didn't work, nor did installing the latest version, and time got really short.
I'm going to try to figure something out during the bye week.
Hey man. I love your work.
I can say this because I can't get negged for it. Anarchy!
You're a bigger slacker than Fisher.
since you provide the hands down best michigan football content in the verse, we're good.
Do you mean to tell me that you aren't ITIL compliant? I envisioned a PM coordinating with your Engineering team who would be conducting testing on the non- production environment. Once that was completed they would submit an Approved Service Interruption with Operations in order to apply the updates/upgrades on the production servers.
Somehow I now see images of two guys eating pizza, googling fix actions and saying "F$&k it. Reboot and see what happens"
Functional and performance testing workstreams in your SDLC.
New shirt for this situation:
For your system update reference.
Since the pos/neg bangs went away, or even the basic voting went away, there have been a lot of people popping off at the mouth...or uh, keyboard.
shut your dirty piehole
Exactly! People can say whatever they want, without any fear of the dreaded "Trolling" or "Flaimbait" button. For some reason I get immense joy out of clicking those buttons...probably way too much joy.
If you can add them back in, please don't cap them. It was great back in the day when a really funny post would score a 25. Also, it doesn't matter if they count towards your point total.
But the negs need to count towards the total.
Some of the comments post game have been really dumb.
The whiney "player x is a bust!" Commenters surely take home the dumbass award this week.
May they all be picking up their teeth with broken hands.
Being able to filter out the negative score comments is a huge feature. The last couple of weeks despite a lot of great posts and great comments, I've enjoyed the board a lot less because I have to read (see) all of the stupid comments about what is an appropriate comment and the player bashing. The board comes off as brilliant with the filter on. We come off like MSU with it off.
We could all protest at the mgoevent next Friday. I'll see if Chris perry will join our cause, bring back the voting!
I think the board is better off without the moderation feature. I find them to be childish (even in the hands of grown men) and they stifle discussion and opposing views as less than worthy because certain posters don't agree with it. The only thing worse about this board is people complaining about thread titles.
made people think twice about hitting the send button. Yes... "group think" was prevalent. However, unpopular opinions weren't punished if they were presented appropriately.
Why are you tools always so worried about policing the board?
You maniacs downvote any dissenting opinion...most of the time it's used for hivemind gang tactics, not 'policing' the board anyway...
-1 That's, like, your opinion, man.
There's lately been a glut of stupid shit posted on board threads.
Typically, the ones who whine the loudest about mythical "groupthink" or "hivemind" are the ones responsible for posting said stupid shit.
If you believe groupthink is a myth, then I have a gas chamber to sell you...
But i was referring to that concept in the context of this board. Furthermore, bitching that unpopuar opinions get voted down is small-minded crap that makes me haul out the world's smallest violin.
But it's also really really fun
The hive-minded are rampant. It's ridiculous that someone can't post their opinion without getting lambasted. Similar to a couple fellows replying to his post.
Posts shouldn't "go away" until -1...you should also be able to go lower than -1 and higher than 5.
