Meta: Avatar Uploading Functioning Again
A lot of people (http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/avatar-malfunction) were having trouble uploading avatar pictures recently, and by having trouble I mean not being able to upload a picture at all. But it looks like Brian fixed the avatar uploading problems when he took the site down, so that we can now upload pictures again. I figured that whoever wanted an avatar might want to know.

Still not working for me. I think I'll just stop periodically trying. I can resize to 85*85 but I'm still confused about the kb limitation.

Mine fits the requirements (85x58, 10 kb), so it's not that.
The error message has changed, so that's something.
I'd be curious to know what file format, OS, and browser the people who have been able to upload an avatar have used.

I'm still getting this every time I try:
- The selected file/tmp/33714_574407490659_3805628_33779801_4322542_n__1_.jpeg could not be copied.
- Failed to upload the picture image; the pictures directory doesn't exist or is not writable.

This is a thread hijack but I don't have enough points to start a thread and this isn't thread-worthy anyway. So sorry.
I can't log in using Google Chrome. I put in my username and password and click 'log in' but the page reloads without actually logging me in. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
I'm using Firefox to post this but I'd rather use Chrome for a variety of reasons.
