the mods is all well and good; I think we all realize that some comments and threads here are in dire need of moderation. The question is, who, what, when, where and why? To moderate or not to moderate, that IS the question. Those decisions continue to remain in the hands of the site operators, as is their right. If we, as participants here, choose to disagree, so be it. The "door" is open and there are plenty of other sites to visit, should we find those moderation decisions too restrictive, or otherwise untenable. Kass was merely expressing his opinion, respectfully. The "ball in the mouth" post simply reinforces his observation.

Moved to Benton Harbor 8 years ago and found the number of Irish fans here nauseating. So much worse than in Chicago, where I was previously.
The two Michigan fans here banded together and we discuss the blog on a daily basis. Yes, we are those guys.

...as I think the moderators here are far too sensitive and censor the boards too much. I really don't mind random trolling & all the other garbage that gets washed up on the internet...just seems like par for the course to me.

We follow the general instructions of the proprietor of this here webthingy, which are that trolls and non-civil debate are verboten. I think part of the reason the blog is so popular is that we avoid a lot of that crap. It may be par for the course, but this is Michigan fergodsakes.
