Happy holidays kids.
Hope you wake up to many many many Xmas prezints.
Merry Merry y'all and a Happy New Year's Bowl Game!
I read this really fast, and thought you said to have a joyless New Year... made me double take but I'm glad you don't hate the world. Merry Christmas everybody!
Best wishes to you and yours. May Santa bring many 4-star linemen for you and many cheezburgers for your cats.

Go Blue oriented and may we be in the hunt for the Directors Cup every year with all M Sports kicking ass and taking names!!!
Merry Christmas, MGoFamily! Just waiting on my 3 year old to wake up and see that he made the nice list. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.
Merry Christmas folks! I hope everyone has a good time with their family. Most importantly be safe!
We're already up and opening gifts here - my daughter came running into the room at 6:30 AM, "SANTA CAME AND HE ATE THE COOKIES THIS TIME!"
Merry Christmas from my actual family to my MGoFamily - have a safe and happy holiday!
Santa ate the cookies! Santa was up late working hard and those came in very handy! So appreciative of the cookies (and beer too)!
Please please tell me that your kids actually leave beer for Santa.
Merry Christmas all. The best part is, I know a framed Sports Illustrated Desmond Howard cover and another of Brian Griese awaits me.
That's cool! ! I always wanted a barn!
Watch out for Christmas zombies...
Merry Christmas to everyone here. Have a safe and happy holiday!
Merry Christmas, all. It still is quiet, as I wait for the children to wake up and open their presents. This will be the last Christmas with all the children in the house . . . our oldest daughter leaves for the Navy in a few months. And the twins are rapidly leaving childhood behind and becoming full fledged teenagers. If you have children, enjoy the time you're given to have them with you. It goes fast.
So true. Two of our three are now out of state in grad school. All three children are home now, but I'm not sure how many more years they will all be home at the same time.
The best of luck to your daughter. One of my daughter's close friends just finished her four years in the Navy and now is using benefits to attend college.
Happy Christmas to everyone!
How old are your twins? Teens yet? Mine are 9, still "believe" and i am loving every minute of them. Enjoy! I always enjoy your MGoPerspective!
Boy and a girl. He (they) just got an x-box 360. I've been holding out against too many electronic games, but resistance is futile. Well, at least he was very excited, and his first question on NCAA football 2012 was, "is Denard on it?"
But I love hearing about others kids, and twins especially! I also REALLY limit the electronics. I have one drawn to technology (the computer mostly), and the other just loves books, drawing and sports. We have a Wii because I won it at work, but have played it about 4 times over the past 3-4 years. They do get real mood changes with too much "screen time". They even notice it when I've pointed it out. So while they get computer time for school projects, their tv is limited to occasional Tom and Jerry cartoons on YouTube, and shows on animal planet. Oh, and of ourselves they watch Michigan football, but that has helped make them very well rounded(read: brainwashed).
I've been awake for two hours watching the sun rise over the lake. A rare late start this Christmas due to some overnight illness with the kids- nothing serious. I just hope they let me play with the new iPads, and give me their hand- me- down Mac laptops. No tech debates this blessed day, please.
Looks like wife day has a new meaning for me.
Did you go to Jared?
Solidly against Jared due to the markups. Bought the diamond and had a friend make the ring. She gave him the design and he knocked it out.
(Kidding and congrats!)
We figured we'd make it official before Cletus VI is born.
Have now done 25 Christmases since mine said yes - enjoy!!
Congratulations on a Xmas you'll never forget.
Merry Christmas to all and may we all grasp the basic, true meaning of this day.
Give it a rest. I don't know if your trying to be funny, or starting an argument. You've said that exact same post a few times now...
Go play with your new XMAS toys.
Congrats! Hopefully you never want the ring back...in the eyes of the court, since its Xmas, it's considered a gift...
I got married almost 3 months ago. Welcome to the festivities. All the cool kids are doin it.
there's nothing like being surgically attached at the hip for your walk through life. I wish you a lifetime of laughter.
Congratulations! My uncle is the only one who helped capture what the difference between being married and single. He said "your life will change forever." Then he added, "I'm not saying it will be better or worse, just different." I think it was the vagueness that helped it to ring true for me.
Merry Christmas everyone! Very excited for 2013! GO BLUE!
Wherever you are! Thanks to all for the information and laughs on this board.
I'm still waiting for my kiddos to washer up. Probably my last year of true belief in Santa, and all the grandparents will be here today. Should be fun...hope there's enough beer!
There's no Santa? (Weeps into lump of coal I've gotten the past decade)
There is no Santa! My kids may just begin to question it, thus the wavering on the "true belief". My kids know that Santa doesnt leave gifts for those non believers..so, that may be part of your coal problem!
I know I believe in Santa because every Christmas I work my ass off for days before Christmas and into the night on Christmas Eve, only to collapse when it over.
Best present: posters of vintage Michigan Football programs. They will be framed and hanging in my office by New Years Day.
Merry Christmas and may we all grasp the basic, true meaning of this day.
MGoBlog is not the place to start a religious argument.
facts correctly. Very simple.
Without a MGoBlog family fight.
It was used to denote Christ. See here: http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/christianholidays/f/Xmas.htm
So X = Christ. There is no difference. Of course X has other values in algebra.
Cheers from Key West! Merry Christmas to all of you and your families
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of the supporters of the Maize and Blue and their families.
May today bring joy and peace to all! Merry Christmas and Big Thanks to all who are serving and protecting this great country!
Merry Christmas! Shitter was full!
Hope everyone is having a good time with people you care about and enjoying their morning.
We just finished opening presents here and are now in the process of making the traditional breakfast (crepes) and hanging out for the day. Also, I'm going to have an appetizer of bacon spread with roquefort and topped with dates for the second time this break. It's pretty much the single greatest thing ever invented.
That bacon/roquefort/dates stuff is incredible.
I had never heard of it before last Saturday when a platter of it appeared at our extended family Christmas. I must have had like fifteen pieces of it.
I don't really know. A friend's wife made it at a house warming party I was at a year or so ago. If I knew how to cook like a grown up, I'd learn how to make it myself. As for now, I'll stick to making Buffalo Chicken Dip, it's about the extent of cooking ability.
Have a great day MGoBloggers! Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas.
.....It's been a great day - between TMNT sewer lair for the 5 yr old and bowties for the 19 year old - I am appreciative of my family!
And my 40-proof homemade eggnog and the standing rib roast with yorkshire pudding my mother-in-law is making!
A toast and Best Wishes to the Maize-n-Blue Family!
Have a Holly Jolly Christmas and in case you didn't hear.... Go Blue BEAT the Gamecocks!
Merry Christmas. Shitter's full.
Merry Christmas and Go Blue from Terling, Essex, UK. I'm rocking the M gear and teaching the locals that Ohio is the worst state ever.
Darius Morris is starting for the lakers. Fire up!
