Mentally challenged monkeys now making the ABC football schedule for Big Ten country.
This is the only reasonable conclusion I can draw based on the games ABC has featured the last two weeks.
This past weekend, those of us in the Big 10 footprint were treated to a classic matchup of Ohio State vs. Eastern Michigan for the 3:30 game on ABC. This week, while most of the country will be watching Top 10 teams Stanford and Oregon slug it out for the early lead in the Pac 10, we will be treated to the sure-to-be-compelling matchup of Notre Dame vs. Boston College at 8:00 on ABC.
Is there such thing as an Angry Big Ten Footprint Football Watching Fan Hating God?

I couldn't get the game this weekend either. This was UNACCEPTABLE so I switched from Comcast to Dish Network. Install is scheduled for Saturday morning. Go Blue

Michigan football is the lipstick ESPN intends to slap on their pig, ESPN-U. When the biggest alumni group in the world finds out they don't have ESPN-U ten minutes before kickoff, cable providers will field dozens of angry demands for that channel. At least that's how I think they're thinking.

Can you blame them? The Minnesota/Northwestern game is the genesis of such memorable moments as this:

Really? ABC bet the house on Brian Kelly's instant success at Notre Dame? Two primetime games?

So I'm a Comcast guy too, and it looks like I'll be enjoying the game and Pam at the local Pub. Hopefully, by the 3Q Pam will look "hot" b/c I'll be drunk. Go Blue.

'Round these parts, it's up in the 700's. North of the Spanish soap operas and Al Jazeera.

There's not enough beer in the world to make that possible.

If she looks hot at any point, you have more problems than the game being on ESPNU.

I think it was mentioned already but this is strange.
Here is what happens to me with DirectTV:
When a reverse mirror game (ESPN / ABC or ESPN 2 / ABC) happens, I get the ABC (local game) perfect in HD. Of course I have HD ESPN and ESPN2, however for some reason the mirrored game is blacked out on the HD channel. I can find the game on the "alternative ESPN" but as someone mentioned, it is in SD. I think this is ESPN's way of getting people to buy their College Football package.
Also, if anyone cares, and it seems they don't, Penn State vs. Iowa is also at the same time - 7 PM CST.
Go Blue!

I think you just insulted mentally challenged monkeys.
